Leonardo da Vinci was born in 1452. Leonardo da Vinci was born three hours after nightfall, near the valley where the Arno River flows, in the territory of the Florentine Republic under the Medici family. Leonardo da Vinci's father, Térgio Piero da Vinci, was a Florentine law notary, and was therefore very wealthy.
Little is known about da Vinci's childhood. He lived with his mother until he was five years old, and from 1457 onwards he lived with his father, grandparents, and uncle Francesco.
Leonardo da Vinci's childhood is a historical mystery. Giorgio Vasari, a 16th-century Renaissance biographer and painter, recounts a local peasant who made a shield and asked Leonardo da Vinci's father, Piero, to paint on it.
His son, Leonardo da Vinci, drew a monster with a tongue of fire on it. The painting was so lifelike and horrible that Piero sold it to a Florentine art agent, who in turn sold it to the Duke of Milan.

Leonardo da Vinci was born in 1452.
Leonardo da Vinci was an Italian Renaissance painter, scientist, and inventor. Modern scholars call him "the most perfect representative of the Renaissance", a unique all-rounder in the history of mankind, whose greatest achievement is painting, and his masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper reflect his exquisite artistic attainments.
Leonardo da Vinci was a man of great thought and knowledge, specializing in painting, sculpture, invention, architecture, mathematics, biology, physics, astronomy, geology and other disciplines. About 6,000 pages of manuscripts have survived. Leonardo da Vinci believed that the most beautiful object of study in nature is the human body, and that the human body is a wonderful work of nature, and that the painter should take man as the core of the painting object.
Leonardo da Vinci was a polymath who made significant achievements in painting, architecture, mathematics, geometry, anatomy, physiology, zoology, botany, astronomy, meteorology, geology, geography, physics, optics, mechanics, inventions, civil engineering, and other fields.
In the beginning, people only learned scientific knowledge by learning Aristotelian theories like the Bible, and only believed in written records. Leonardo da Vinci rejected the scholastic philosophers' use of the teachings and sayings of the past as the basis of knowledge, and he encouraged people to learn from nature and seek knowledge and truth in it. He believes that knowledge originates from practice, and we should start from practice and explore the mysteries of science through practice.
