Is blogging a goldmine in the marketing industry? Discuss on the WebProworld e-commerce forum.
Blogging is a goldmine for CEOs, marketing gurus, and others who aren't used to opening public forums to gain insights that were previously hard to get. These business leaders use the internet to communicate their thoughts on what is happening in their careers and lives. They blog for the same reason they do public speaking, to build credibility for themselves and their company.
Blogs have become a new one....A less time-consuming and cheaper way to attract potential and existing customers.
Commenting on the CEO's blog in Time (London), Jackie Danicki, a partner at Big Blogger, said, "There are actually a lot of CEOs sitting there and writing about things they know. It also includes their personal matters, talking about things outside of the topic, talking about their holiday ......This will make the reader feel a little relatable."
Danicki continues: "There are many reasons why executives start blogging. They want to build their personal profiles, they want to reach out to their clients and their own staff without going through official channels and PR departments, and they want the company to be seen as a forward-thinking company that is in line with the latest trends."
Links between blogs form a powerful viral marketing effect. "What's really valuable is what you don't expect," Danicki said, "and I know from our point of view, the number of people who have talked to us and done business with us owe it to the magic of our blog. The producers of Hollywood, the publishing companies of the United States, without this network, people in different time zones would never have been able to get in touch."
So, what kind of information is in these blogs? I remember reading JupiterMedia CEO Alan Meckler's blog, where he warned that "all ** showed the operators the dangers of working at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas".
The real-time attention of first-class CEOs, that's why the Internet is now being invented!

Big Blogger Inc. Associate Jean Danicki commented on the CEO blog at The Times (London), "You basically have a lot of CEOs who are sitting there and writing about what they know and also adding personal stuff and talking about off-site topics on their holidays. .It gets the reader to feel a kiss."
Danicki continued: "The chiefs started blogging for a number of reasons, they wanted to improve their profiles, they wanted to reach out to customers and members of their own staff, without having to go through official channels and PR departments, they wanted to be seen as forward-thinking about the latest trends in the company".
I know from our perspective, the amount of people we've ended up talking and doing business and just simply thanking our blog is amazing. Producers in Hollywood, people from publishing companies, people in the United States, people who are in another time, without this network, we wouldn't get in touch."
