Step 1: Must be a good craftsman.
CNC machine tools integrate drilling, milling, boring, reaming, tapping and other processes. The technical literacy of the technicians is very demanding. CNC program is the process of using computer language to reflect the processing process.
Craftsmanship is the foundation of programming. If you don't know the process, you must not be able to program. In fact, when we choose the profession of machining, it means that the early stage of the industry is hard and rough.
The little basic knowledge you learn in college is very little to meet the needs of the factory. The engineer of machining is, to some extent, an experiencer. Therefore, a lot of time must be spent with workers, dry lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, machining centers, etc.; Then in the office, the process is compiled, the material consumption is estimated, and the quota is calculated.
You must be familiar with the performance of various types of machines and the skill level of the workshop masters. In this way, after 2-3 years of practice, you can basically become a qualified craftsman. From my personal experience, I would advise young college students who have just started working to learn from the workers and masters with an open mind, and once they can pass on their decades of experience to you, you will avoid many detours.
Because these experiences cannot be learned in books, the selection of process is a comprehensive consideration of equipment capabilities and personnel technical capabilities. Without the support and trust of our employees, it would be impossible to become a good craftsman.
Step 2: Proficient in CNC programming and the application of computer software.
I think it's easier to do this, and there are dozens of programming instructions, and all kinds of systems are similar. Generally, it takes 1-2 months to get very familiar. The automatic programming software is a little more complicated and requires learning modeling.
But for people with a good CAD foundation, it is not difficult. Also, if you're programming by hand, the basics of analytic geometry should be good! Readers are the most comfortable with the learning of this knowledge.
Step 3: Be able to operate CNC machine tools proficiently.
It takes 1-2 years of learning, and the operation is to pay attention to the feel, beginners, especially college students, know how to do it, but the hand just doesn't listen to the call. In this process, it is necessary to learn: the operation mode of the system, the installation of fixtures, the alignment of parts datum, tool setting, setting zero offset, setting tool length compensation, radius compensation, tool and tool holder loading, unloading, tool grinding, parts measurement (proficient in the use of vernier calipers, microcard, dial gauge, dial gauge, inner diameter lever.
table) and so on. The most reflective of the level of operation are: horizontal machining center and large gantry (moving beam, top beam) machining center.
The practice of operation requires understanding! Sometimes there is really a kind of artistic conception of "leisurely heart, wonderful and difficult to say"!
In the CNC workshop, you can calm down and practice well! Generally speaking, the process from the processing of the first part to the qualified machining accuracy requires the CNC programming technician to complete it himself.
