Mr. Yang Ming said that "there is nothing outside the heart" and "there is no reason outside the heart". The generation of discriminating minds separates the heavens and the man, but this separation is a false separation, not a true separation, because if it is true separation, as I said earlier, both "me" and "heaven" will perish.
In order to break through the mystery and obstacle and reunite heaven and man, we need to cultivate, to explore the falsehood and see the truth. Therefore, the unity of heaven and man is the return of our life, the rediscovery of our original abilities.
In this process, the realm of the unity of heaven and man can be roughly divided into three levels:
The first level is the induction of heaven and man, that is, you can sense and "see" what the sky can do. Therefore, we can sense and recognize the past, present, and future of all things in the universe. This is what Confucius called "silent and immovable, feeling and passing", which is the basis of Zhou Yi**, and even various ** methods and personal cultivation.
Confucius was probably at this level.
The third level is the unity of man and heaven, people stand above the sky, outside the sky, not only passively conform to the way of heaven and sense the way of heaven, but also to actively manipulate the way of heaven, and even create the way of heaven, and then let the way of heaven run according to their own requirements and ideas, which is the real "do nothing and do nothing".
