Time slipped away before my eyes like a hundred white horses, and when 2010 was about to ring the hearts of all Chinese people and even people around the world in the name of years, I pondered this familiar saying: "City, make life better." "World Expo, a term that was once unfamiliar, now makes me so fascinated and longed for.
What kind of magic does it have?
For the world, it is an Olympic feast in the economic, scientific and technological and cultural circles, bringing many opportunities, development, benefits and reputation to the participating countries, and promoting social prosperity and progress. For the middle school students of our new century, it is a precious gift that brings us infinite harvest and surprise. Knowing honor and disgrace, establishing a new wind, we greet it with a majestic and high-spirited attitude!
We will continue to strive for self-improvement, carry forward the spirit and culture of the Expo, forge ahead with the motherland, and walk with the Expo. I am proud that I am a citizen of Shanghai and proud that I am Chinese!!
Looking at the big world with small eyes, I think the 21st century is a green century, so the Shanghai World Expo should also be a green event. As a student, I understand that green is the eternal theme of human beings, and how to "decorate" this precious gift in my eyes has become the most earth-shattering wish in my life, so what kind of modest help can I contribute to it? Greening!
I think of a vibrant scene of the world full of greenery. My whole body is full of blood as if it is infused with galloping power, yes!! I have to rely on my own hands to green the surrounding environment, maybe this is just a drop in the ocean for Shanghai, but it also incorporates my blessings and expectations for the Expo!
When I think about it, I get a little relief.
I went to the edge of the field in front of my house, and it would be better to call it a "wilderness" than a field, with sparse weeds, dust flying everywhere, piles of garbage scattered around, and a few plastic bags drifting on ......the groundMy heart suddenly cooled half, such an environment? Even the surroundings of residential areas are so miserable, how can we puff up our chests to welcome the Expo? No, I have to change it!
I gritted my teeth and got into action. Roll up your sleeves and bend down to pull out the weeds one by one, pick up the plastic bags one by one, and clean up the nasty garbage little by little. What kind of force in my heart supported me to make such a crazy move?
Supporting my aching arms, heavier and heavier steps? Suddenly, a group of my playmates stood across from me, looking curiously and suspiciously at my somewhat embarrassed figure. I pointed to the banner hanging on the faded concrete wall:
To welcome the Expo, start with me. They suddenly realized, smiled heartily, rolled up their sleeves, and some brought green seedlings from home to plant, and under the oblique shadow of the setting sun, a group of post-90s generations who are usually regarded as cynical and arrogant are busy ......We just want to contribute to the Expo.

Feelings. 1. The World Expo is a condensed world. One of the slogans of the Expo is:
The world is in front of you, and we are all around you. More than 200 countries and regions have set up exhibition halls in the venue with an area of 5 square kilometers to display the history and culture, science and technology, urban management and customs of their own countries and regions, so that ordinary people can see the general appearance, economic strength, science and technology, education level, urban construction and future development of countries all over the world without going abroad.
Feelings. Second, the World Expo is a national strength display platform, Saudi Arabia has a strong economic strength, spent 1.2 billion huge funds, built a national pavilion of Mobil Mobil, become the second national pavilion to attract popularity in addition to the China Pavilion; Similarly, the technologically advanced national pavilions of the United States, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, France and other countries have become the 10 popular pavilions of this year's World Expo because of the wonderful things on display, and you will have to queue for three to four hours to visit any of them.
Feelings. 3. The World Expo is a mirror. The advanced and backward, poor and rich countries are clear at a glance, and the national pavilions of Western European countries, such as the Netherlands, Iceland, New Zealand and other countries, exhibit science and technology, urban construction, low-carbon environmental protection, reflecting the harmony between man and nature, man and the environment.
There is no doubt that the citizens of these developed countries enjoy a high quality of life. Similarly, in backward countries, such as Mongolia, Vietnam, North Korea, Myanmar, etc., most of the exhibits are handicrafts and religious items, just like the small commodity market of the Chenghuang Temple. It reflects that these countries, like some underdeveloped areas in China's interior, are backward in production science and technology, backward in urban construction, and the people live in poverty.
Feelings. Fourth, the World Expo is "communist". I don't know what exactly Marx's fantasy of communism looks like?
I thought that the Expo Park had first-class architecture, advanced facilities, advanced technology, flowers, laughter, singing and dancing, free public transportation, and volunteers full of handsome men and beautiful women, and even the police officers had become amiable. If the expo is free of charge ** food and drink, then "communism" has really come true. Hehe!

I think it's mainly about experiencing the different understandings of the city, life and the future of each museum, and each country showing its own style and spirit through a single pavilion will inspire people to think and think. In line with the theme of this World Expo, "Better City, Better Life" and the core idea of low-carbon environmental protection, innovation and change. In fact, I think you need a certain amount of cultural experience to understand the Expo, not only do you have to slowly understand the different cultural connotations, ponder the original intention and ingenuity of the designer, but also need a certain thinking dimension to reflect and consider.
