Calculated according to the projection area of the building!
-
The calculation method varies from place to place, and there is a detailed description in your "Floor Area Calculation Specification".
-
Refer to the code for construction projects "Code for Calculation of Construction Area of Construction Projects" GB T 50353-2005
If it is a residence, look at the "Residential Design Code" GB 50096-2011
Here are some of the contents of the residential design code:
The following technical and economic indicators should be calculated for the design of the dwelling:
usable area of each functional space (m2);
The usable area in the set (m2 sets);
Balcony area (m2 sets);
The total floor area of the set type (m2 sets);
Gross floor area of residential buildings (m2).
4 0 2 The calculation of the technical and economic indicators of the dwelling shall comply with the following provisions:
1. The usable area of each functional space shall be equal to the horizontal projection area enclosed by the inner surface of the wall of each functional space;
The usable area of the suite shall be equal to the sum of the usable area of each functional space in the suite;
3. The area of the balcony shall be equal to the sum of the areas of the balconies in the suite; The area of the balcony shall be calculated at half of the net projection area of the structural floor plate;
The total floor area of the set shall be equal to the sum of the usable area of the suite, the corresponding floor area and the area of the balcony of the set;
5. The total floor area of a residential building shall be equal to the sum of the total floor area of each type of residential building.
4 0 3 The calculation of the usable area in the set shall comply with the following provisions:
The usable area of the suite should include the sum of the usable area of the bedroom, living room (hall), dining room, kitchen, bathroom, hallway, aisle, storage room, wall cabinet, etc.;
The staircase in the duplex dwelling shall be included in the usable area of the suite according to the sum of the usable area of the natural floors;
3. Chimneys, ventilation ducts, tube wells, etc. should not be included in the usable area of the set;
The usable area in the suite should be calculated according to the surface size of the structural wall; When there is a composite insulation layer, it should be calculated according to the surface size of the composite insulation layer;
When using the space in the sloping roof, the space with a net height of less than 1 20m on the lower surface of the roof panel and the floor floor should not be counted as the usable area, the space with a net height of 1 20m 2 10m should be calculated as 1 2, and the space with a net height of more than 2 10m should be included in the usable area of the suite; The sloping roof has no structural top floor slab, and the usable area should not be calculated when the sloping roof space cannot be utilized;
The usable area in the sloping roof should be included in the usable area of the suite.
4 0 4 The calculation of the total floor area of the 4 sets shall comply with the following provisions:
The floor area of the residential building should be calculated according to the sum of the horizontal projection area enclosed by the outer surface of the external wall structure and the outer edge of the column on each floor of the whole building.
The ratio should be calculated by dividing the usable area of the total building by the floor area of the residential building;
3 The total floor area of the suite shall be equal to the usable area of the suite divided by the calculated ratio, plus the area of the balcony.

1. Regardless of its height, the construction area of a single-storey building shall be calculated according to one floor, and its construction area shall be calculated according to the peripheral horizontal area of the structure above the foot of the outer wall of the building. If there are some floors in a single-storey building, the floor area of the first floor is included in the single-storey building, and the floor area of the second floor and above should be calculated. For single-storey buildings with high and low spans, when the area of building oak removal needs to be calculated separately, the outer edge of the structure should be used as the boundary to calculate the area of the building separately.
2. The construction area of a multi-storey building shall be calculated according to the sum of the construction area of each floor, and the construction area of the first floor shall be calculated according to the peripheral horizontal area of the structure above the foot of the external wall, and the second floor and above shall be calculated according to the peripheral horizontal area of the external wall structure.
3. When the structure and number of floors of the same building are different, the construction area should be calculated separately.
4. Basements, semi-basements, underground workshops, warehouses, shops, stations, underground headquarters, etc., and the corresponding construction area of the population shall be calculated according to the horizontal area of the outer wall of the upper mouth.
5. When the building built on the slope is designed to use the stilt space to set up the overhead layer and the deep foundation underground overhead layer to be used, its height exceeds 2.2 meters, and the construction area is calculated according to the horizontal area of the periphery of the enclosure structure.

How to calculate the floor area of a building? The floor area of a building refers to the calculation of the peripheral horizontal area and the horizontal projection area, including the calculation of the floor area of the building, the common floor area, the usable area, etc.
Rules for calculating the floor area of buildings:
1.The building area is calculated according to the peripheral horizontal projection area of each floor above the foot of the outer wall (column) of the building, including balconies, corridors, basements, outdoor stairs, etc., and has a permanent building with a cover, a firm structure, and a floor height of more than meters (including meters, the same below).
2.The common floor area of a building refers to the floor area jointly occupied or used by all property owners.
3.The usable area of a building refers to the total usable space area of the building, which is calculated according to the horizontal area of the interior wall of the building.
4.The number of floors of the building refers to the natural number of floors of the building, which is generally calculated according to the indoor floor above. False floors, annex floors (mezzanines), intercalated floors, attics (dark floors), decorative towers, as well as stairwells and water tanks with protruding roofs do not count the number of floors.
5.The level of the building refers to the number of floors of the building in which the ownership unit is located. The subterranean level is represented by a negative number.
6.The area occupied by the building structure (such as walls and columns) includes the area occupied by the basement, but does not include the area occupied by the patio, balcony outside the wall, and the external staircase of the objective existence.
-
According to the rules for calculating the construction area stipulated by the state: 1. The construction area of the building is calculated according to the sum of the construction area of each floor, and the construction area of the first floor is calculated according to the peripheral horizontal area of the structure above the foot of the external wall; 2. The stairwell is built according to the natural floor; 3. Calculate the construction area when the storeroom floor height is more than one meter; 4. When the balcony is fully enclosed, the construction area is calculated according to the horizontal projection area, and when it is not closed, the construction area is calculated according to half of the horizontal projection area. 5. The deformation joints and expansion joints with a width of less than 300mm are calculated according to the natural layer according to their width.
-
The building area is calculated according to the length and width, one floor is counted as one floor, and two floors are counted as two floors.
-
The sum of the area of each floor, including the above-ground floor area and the underground floor area.
