The gasoline injection system of the EFI gasoline engine is mainly composed of three parts: the air intake system, the fuel supply system and the electronic control system. (1) Air intake system. Its function is to provide the necessary air for the engine, which is generally composed of an air filter, throttle body, throttle valve, air valve, intake manifold, etc.
In addition, in order to adjust the air intake volume at any time to meet the needs of various working conditions, the air intake system is also equipped with a detection device for the air intake. In the D-type system, the air intake is detected by the intake manifold pressure sensor; In the L-type system, the air intake is detected by an air flow sensor mounted behind the air filter. The air enters the cylinder through the air filter, throttle valve, intake manifold, intake manifold, and the air valve, which is only used to adjust the air intake volume and control the engine idle speed when the temperature of the engine is low.
The throttle assembly comprises a throttle channel that controls the air intake volume and an air side channel that idles the operation, the throttle position sensor is connected with the throttle shaft to detect the throttle opening, and some throttle assemblies are equipped with throttle return buffers and air regulating valves, in order to avoid the moisture in the winter air from icing on the throttle assembly, some also flow engine cooling water through the assembly.
2) Fuel supply system. It usually consists of an electric gasoline pump, a gasoline filter, a pressure regulator, a pulsation damper, an injector, and a cold-start injector. In an electronically controlled gasoline injection system, gasoline is pumped out of the fuel tank by an electric gasoline pump and delivered to electromagnetic injectors and cold-start injectors through a gasoline filter.
The pressure regulator and the injector are connected in parallel to ensure that the difference between the pressure of the gasoline supplied to the electromagnetic injector and the pressure of the injection environment (injection pressure difference) is constant. The pulsation damper can eliminate the small fluctuations caused by the oil pressure during fuel injection, and further stabilize the oil pressure, the electromagnetic injector injects the gasoline into the eight inlet channels according to the injection pulse signal controlled by the engine, and when the cooling water temperature is low, the cold start injector injects the gasoline into the intake main pipe to improve the starting performance of the engine at low temperature.
3) Electronic control system. The function of the electronic control system is to carry out comprehensive analysis and processing by the computer according to the signals of various sensors, and control the oil quantity through the actuator, so that the engine has the best performance. ECU determines the air flow rate according to the signals of the air flow meter (L type) or the intake manifold pressure sensor (D type) and the speed sensor, and then determines the basic fuel supply of each cycle according to the air-fuel ratio requirements and the signal of the air intake, and then corrects various working parameters such as ignition advance angle, temperature, throttle opening, and air-fuel ratio according to the signals of various sensors, and finally determines the optimal fuel injection amount under a certain working condition.

-
The function of the fuel supply system of the gasoline engine is mainly to supply the engine cylinder with a certain concentration and quantity of combustible mixture according to the different requirements of the engine's working conditions, and discharge the exhaust gas generated after the engine combustion power stroke into the atmosphere after a certain treatment.
There are two main forms of gasoline engine fuel supply system: carburetor type gasoline engine fuel supply system and gasoline injection fuel supply system. The carburetor fuel supply system has been widely used in automobiles due to its simple structure, easy to use and low cost, but the main disadvantage of the carburetor engine is that the filling and mixture distribution are not ideal.
It has a certain adverse impact on the improvement of engine dynamics, economy and emissions. As a result, Hyundai is largely out of use.
1.The basic composition of the carburetor fuel supply system, its main structure includes the following five parts:
1) Gasoline supply device: It is composed of a gasoline tank, a gasoline filter, a gasoline pump and a gasoline pipe, which is mainly used for gasoline storage, transportation and cleaning.
2) Air supply device: the main structure is an air filter, and some engines are also equipped with an air intake preheating device, which is mainly used for air delivery, cleaning and preheating.
3) Combustible mixture forming device: that is, carburetor, which is used to form a combustible mixture of air and fuel.
4) Combustible mixture gas supply and exhaust gas discharge device: It is composed of inlet and exhaust pipes and exhaust mufflers, which are mainly used for the supply, exhaust silence and exhaust gas discharge of combustible mixture.
5) Oil storage indication device: It is mainly composed of fuel gauge, oil level sensor and other components, which is mainly used to display the oil storage status.
2.Composition of an electronically controlled gasoline injection system.
Although there are various forms of electronically controlled gasoline injection systems, they all follow the same control rules, that is, the electronic control unit (ECU) is the control core, the air flow and engine speed are the control basis, and the fuel injector is the control object to ensure that the engine obtains the best mixture concentration under various working conditions to meet the requirements of engine power, economy and emissions. The same control principle determines that the basic composition and structure of the fuel supply system of various electronically controlled gasoline injection engines are similar. Generally speaking, the fuel supply system of electronically controlled gasoline injection engine consists of three parts: air supply system, fuel supply system and electronic control system.
1) Air supply system The air supply system mainly includes the intake system and the exhaust system, which is composed of an air filter, an air flow meter, a throttle valve, an intake manifold, an intake manifold and an idle air control valve.
2) Gasoline supply system The gasoline supply system is mainly composed of a gasoline tank, an electric fuel pump, a fuel filter, a fuel pressure pulsation damper, a fuel pressure regulator, an injector and a fuel pipeline.
3) Electronic control system The electronic control system is mainly composed of three parts: sensor, ECU and actuator.

The gasoline engine is composed of a crank connecting rod mechanism, a valve mechanism, a fuel supply system, a lubrication system, a cooling system, an ignition system and a starting system.
Cooling system: Motor vehicles are usually water-cooled. The water-cooled type is composed of a water pump, radiator, fan, thermostat and water jacket (in the body), etc., and its function is to use the circulation of cooling water to dissipate the heat of high-temperature parts to the atmosphere through the radiator.
Lubrication system: The lubrication system is composed of oil pump, filter, oil channel, oil pan, etc. Its function is to distribute the lubricating oil to the friction surface of each relatively moving part to reduce friction, slow down the wear of the parts, and clean and cool the friction surface.
Characteristics and principles of gasoline engines:
In gasoline engines, the oil-air mixture enters the cylinder and is ignited by a spark plug near the end of compression. Therefore, the gasoline engine needs a set of ignition system to control when the spark plug works, in order to ensure the normal operation of the gasoline engine, the time of spark plug discharge and the size of the spark energy must be accurately controlled, so the fuel supply system and the ignition system are the parts with a high proportion of failures.

The gasoline engine is composed of two major mechanisms and five major systems, namely the crank connecting rod mechanism, the gas distribution mechanism, the fuel supply system, the lubrication system, the cooling system, the ignition system and the starting system.
Crank connecting rod mechanism In the power stroke, the piston bears the gas pressure in the cylinder for linear motion, through the connecting rod to convert into the rotary motion of the crankshaft, and from the crankshaft external output power. During the intake, compression and exhaust strokes, the flywheel releases energy and converts the rotational motion of the crankshaft into the linear motion of the piston.
The function of the valve mechanism is to open and close the intake and exhaust valves regularly according to the working sequence and working process of the engine, so that the combustible mixture or air enters the cylinder, and the exhaust gas is discharged from the cylinder to achieve air exchange.
Fuel supply system The function of the fuel supply system of gasoline engine is to prepare a certain amount and concentration of mixed gas according to the requirements of the engine, supply it to the cylinder, and discharge the exhaust gas after combustion from the cylinder to the atmosphere; The function of the diesel engine fuel supply system is to supply diesel and air into the cylinder respectively, form a mixture in the combustion chamber and burn it, and finally discharge the exhaust gas after combustion.
Ignition system In a gasoline engine, the combustible mixture in the cylinder is ignited by an electric spark, for which a spark plug is installed on the cylinder head of the gasoline engine, and the head of the spark plug extends into the combustion chamber. Able to generate an electric spark between the spark plug electrodes on time.
Cooling system The function of the cooling system is to dissipate part of the heat absorbed by the heated parts in time to ensure that the engine works at the most suitable temperature state.
Lubrication System The function of the lubrication system is to deliver a certain amount of clean lubricating oil to the surface of the parts that are moving relative to each other, so as to achieve liquid friction, reduce frictional resistance, and reduce the wear of parts. and the surface of the part is cleaned and cooled.
Starting system In order to make the engine transition from a stationary state to a working state, it is necessary to rotate the crankshaft of the engine with external force first, so that the piston reciprocates, and the combustible mixture in the cylinder burns and expands to work, and pushes the piston to move downward to rotate the crankshaft. The engine can run on its own and the duty cycle can be automatic.
