First of all, let's talk about how to adjust the ink pigment.
When there is no black pigment, it can be mixed with other colors. Colors are divided into primary colors, intermediate colors, and compound colors.
There are three primary colors: red, lemon yellow, and blue.
The intercolor is derived from the primary hue: bright red + lemon yellow = orange; Big Red + Blue = Purple; Lemon yellow + blue = green. The contrasting color of each primary color is the intermediate color of the other two primary colors.
For example, the contrast color of bright red is green, the contrast color of lemon yellow is purple, and the contrast color of blue is orange.
The compound color is produced by the primary color plus the intercolor (it can also be derived from the intercolor plus the intercolor, the reason is the same, because the intercolor plus the intercolor is the same as the primary color plus the intercolor). For example, red + purple = violet, yellow + orange = orange yellow, etc., theoretically black = primary color + corresponding contrasting color (in fact, the three primary tones are together); Why theoretically? This is because the three primary colors always tend to be black in the process of modulating black, but it is difficult to achieve absolute black and become a color close to black.
There will always be a deviation in color, in fact, it is a crimson color, or reddish, or yellowish, or blueish, which we call red-gray, yellow-gray, or blue-gray.
The white in gouache painting cannot be adjusted with other colors.
In the past, the white in gouache pigments was generally zinc white (earlier lead white), which is a slightly cooler white and is an artificial mineral pigment. It is characterized by long-lasting lightfastness, but because its color layer is fragile and inelastic, it should not be long-lasting, and it is easy to crack and scatter after a long time. Moreover, zinc white is extremely moisture-absorbing, coupled with its relatively weak covering power, after a certain period of time, the color is gray and dirty.
Now it is commonly used to use titanium dioxide.
Although titanium dioxide is not modulable, it can be made. Of course, it is difficult for individuals to make products due to the limitations of machinery and equipment. Titanium dioxide is an artificial mineral pigment. The manufacture of gouache pigments requires a variety of colorants, fillers, gluing agents, wetting agents, preservatives and other binders.
Titanium dioxide is a gorgeous pure white pigment, which is an artificial mineral pigment. Whether it is simply titanium dioxide or mixed with other pigments, it is lightfast and long-lasting. But avoid mixing with cobalt yellow, cadmium yellow and magenta, as it will also become black.
Note: It is best to buy gouache paints in tubes or bottles produced by authentic art supplies manufacturers (I generally use Marley brand). The authentic pigment has a suitable consistency, delicate, saturated color, not dirty or gray, and is not easy to bleed, and does not fall off for a long time.

..If you distinguish between black and white, then it's not gouache, it's printmaking, light is affected by the color of the environment, black and white are no exception, color is not prescriptive, it depends on personal feelings and perception.
-
1. Start by preparing a palette, a gouache and three pigments, red, white and earthy.
2. Squeeze the red on the palette and blend with chalk.
3. Add white again. Pay attention to the amount of color used. Then, blend the two colors.
4. Bease with chalk.
5. Add earthy yellow, blend the three colors fully, and adjust to the desired flesh color.
6. Finally, mix to the desired flesh color.
Notes:
How to learn how to color grading:
1. To learn the correct method of color mixing, first of all, it is necessary to carefully interpret the theory of color composition, first lay a solid theoretical foundation for color composition, and then take some typical demonstrations for practice.
2. Color is not only a reflection of the objective world, but also a feeling of the subjective world. Some people will be a treasure trove of certain hues, while others may be regarded as garbage, which is entirely a matter of "turnip greens, each with his own love", but it also reflects the fact that color is both an objective existence and a subjective feeling.
3. Although the color mixing technology is complex and dazzling. But philosophically speaking, everything has a regularity, and the key is how we recognize and master this law.

The method of adjusting gouache black is to adjust the red, yellow, and blue in a certain proportion, which becomes the black color commonly used in our gouache paintings. If the gouache painting is not decorative or abstract, it is not recommended to use pure black gouache. The whole picture of pure black gouache painting is gray, which affects the beauty of the picture.
Actually, gouache paint is black, but when painting gouache, you don't usually use black paint directly on the picture, but adjust the red and blue to a color close to black. The blended black is not as stiff as the original black, but more lively. The definition of black is the opposite of white, which means that no visible light enters the visual range.
If the pigment absorbs all visible light in the spectrum and does not reflect other light, it gives a black feeling. If the three primary colors of red, yellow, and blue are mixed in a certain proportion, the reflected light color will be minimized, giving people the feeling of black. Therefore, black is caused by both the lack of light and the absorption of all colored light.
Color adjustment is very important in artistic color, and color adjustment should not be too pink. That is to say, in the process of color adjustment, we can't put too much white, because putting too much white will cause the color to be too pink. Gouache tones, no matter what the color, try to avoid three or more colors, if there are too many superimposed colors, the picture is not well mastered, and it will be very dirty.

What kind of gouache do you use?
The gouache used in the joint entrance examination is just white and a heavy gray color palette and stirred well, and the amount of the two pigments can be controlled to control the weight of the color.
There are two completely different uses of gouache pigments on the market.
Another kind of gouache is to take gray and constantly superimpose it.
Hello teacher, but it will blend with the black underneath, and you can't tell that it's white, so you have to control the amount.
And don't use black paint.
Keep this in mind.
Do not use black paint.
With ochre, ripe brown is better than black.
Oh, good teacher, but I've used dark blue, and it's still like this, and sometimes I'm still yellow, and it neutralizes [covering face] [covering face].
Don't use dark colors as base colors.
Darken the white pigment.
Add a little bit at a time with only a portion of the white pigment.
Remember to try to be as clean as possible before adding color.
Oh......A good teacher, is it just to deepen the blue in the white paint?
Oh......A good teacher, is it just to deepen the blue in the white paint?
Plus, but only a little.
Oh ok thank you teacher.
Poke a little bit with the tip of the pen and stir it in.
Okay [than heart].
Okay [than heart].

First, the saturation of the color, if for the college entrance examination, your gouache color should be bright, don't mix too many colors together, low purity will appear very dark, especially bright things such as fruits, it is best to have at least one piece of color on it is pure. >>>More
When gouache is wet, the saturation of its color is as high as that of oil painting, but after drying, due to the action of powder and the loss of luster of the color, the saturation is greatly reduced, which is the limitation of its color purity. The brightness of gouache is improved by diluting, adding powder, or light colors with more powdery pigments. Its dry and wet changes are very large, often some colors only add a little powder, wet and dry, its brightness shows a difference of depth or light. >>>More

To put it simply, it can be modified, and the modification ability is strong. >>>More
