How to set up a PHP debugging environment in Eclipse

First, install and configure the Apache and PHP environments.

Not much to say about the installation, Apache is an MSI file, PHP just unzip it.

The configuration is annoying, and the steps are as follows:

1.1) extension_dir = "./"Modified to extension dir ="c:

2) ;extension=php and "; extension=php, remove the previous semicolon, i.e. put ; Extension=php to extension=php ; Extension=PHP to Extension=PHP 3).Save it, and then start apache again

2.Modify the apache conf and add :at the end of the file

phpinidir "c:/"

Add :

c:\;c:\

After the above configuration, create a PHP test file in the Apache htdocs directory as follows:

code restarts apache.

The advantage of this is that all PHP projects share an Apache configuration (see below how to set it up).

2) Configure eclipse:

Open eclipse->window->preferences->php:

Note that workspace is added to the URL field, which is the directory alias added in.

At this point, the configuration is complete.

Remember to restart Apache again.

Finally, build a test program and see how it works

Create a new PHP project named FirstPHPTEST, using our E:EclipSeWorkspace as the Eclipse workspace directory.

Create a new PHP file in your project, e.g. using the one above.

That's it, rest, rest.

MySQL is OK and Apache is OK

Create a project and then create a page directly in it, it's OK, I think it's better to eclipse.

Use wampserver, configured, and open it on the web.

Step 4: Copy the contents of Features and Plugins to the corresponding folder in Eclipse, and you can copy them to the root directory of Eclipse. Then start Eclipse (or restart Eclipse if it is already started, restart Eclipse for the newly added file to take effect).

Step 8: Select "Window>>Preferences" in Eclipse, and click "phpeclipse>>PHP external tools" in the left menu bar of the pop-up preferences window to modify the PHP configuration information. At the same time, it was found that there are three submenus under "php external tools":

Apache, MySQL, and Xampp: you can set the configuration information of Apache, MySQL, and Xampp.

Step 9: Click the "Apache" submenu to modify the Apache configuration information. Modify the apache path to the native installation path. The modified sample is shown in the figure, and the specific value is subject to your own computer.

Eclipse is just a tool. Just create a new project with Eclipse and import PHP**.

You can install an EPP4 device. EPP4 is a modified version of Eclipse.
