Tools Required: Alcohol lamp.
Tripod. Asbestos nets.
Beakers 2 pcs. Lighter.
2 thermometers.
Stir bar. Electronic scales (accurate to at least 1 gram).
pH test strips. A number of molds.
Vinegar (in a spray bottle).
Raw material required: Base oil.
Sodium hydroxide (flake alkali).
Distilled water. Essential oils (optional).
Use a scale to measure a certain amount of base oil, sodium hydroxide, and water.
Slowly pour the sodium hydroxide into the distilled water and stir as you pour to help it melt.
When sodium hydroxide comes into contact with water, it will release a large amount of heat and even boil.
So please remember to pour sodium hydroxide into the water, and don't reverse the order and cause unnecessary trouble!
Sodium hydroxide is a strong alkali, and its alkaline strength can be measured with pH test paper after being turned into an aqueous solution.
Please be vigilant at all times when operating, and do not let the lye touch your own ** or even splash into the eye area when stirring.
You can prepare a spray bottle within easy reach and fill it with an appropriate amount of vinegar, and spray it on ** when the liquid alkali accidentally touches ** to neutralize the pH.
Heat the base oil on an alcohol lamp and measure the temperature with a thermometer from time to time.
When the heat reaches about 50 degrees, the beaker can be removed from the alcohol lamp.
Be careful not to place the head of the thermometer at the bottom of the beaker when measuring with a thermometer, as the temperature is highest there!
You can gently stir the base oil with a thermometer to make the temperature in the beaker more uniform and easier to measure.
The sodium hydroxide aqueous solution does not need to be heated again because the sodium hydroxide will release a lot of heat after it encounters water.
As long as the base oil is heated, another thermometer is used at the same time to measure whether the aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide has cooled down to about 50 degrees from time to time.
If the temperature of the aqueous sodium hydroxide solution is below 40 degrees due to the long time required for the base oil to be heated, it needs to be reheated.
Slowly pour the aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide into the base oil and stir it.
Stir quickly, but do not stir the mixture out of the beaker and cause unnecessary injury.
After pouring, you still need to continue to stir, at least 30 minutes, and more than 10 hours.
In the process of stirring, it is also necessary to ensure that the temperature is controlled at about 40 degrees, which can be measured from time to time with a thermometer.
If the temperature is too low, you can put it on the alcohol lamp and reheat it again.
However, do not let the temperature rise above 50 degrees during the whole process, so as not to destroy the natural active ingredients of the cold-pressed grease.
After stirring, it can be loaded into the mold, and placed in a cool and ventilated place, waiting for 4 to 6 weeks after the soap matures, and then it can be demolded and used.
If you often make soap, put a sticker with the date on the mold so as not to get confused :)

1.Prepare molds, cooking oil, caustic soda, frozen milk, cups and other materials. 2.
Take out the milk, pour it into a cup, put in the caustic soda, put in a small amount many times, stirring until the alkali particles are completely dissolved; Add grease to the cup in small amounts several times, stirring as you go. 3.The mixed solution is poured into your favorite mold, and after two days, it is demolded, that is, the soap is made.
It's very easy to use.,It's very comfortable.** It's fine.,It seems to be a little white.,It's said that cold soap can go to acne.,I don't have acne so I don't know.。。。 But those who have used it say that it is very good, close to zero allergies. >>>More
Generally, handmade soap can be stored for one to two years, and some of the shelf life can reach five years (but very little), if the ingredients include fresh milk (breast milk) or fresh fruits and flowers, the shelf life will be greatly shortened, generally three months to six months after maturity. However, you can add some ingredients to help preserve the quality when making it. If you are not a seller, you can give it to your friends if you have made too much.
It may be that the quality of the handmade soap bought is not good, it is best to pay attention to the pure plant when buying, and now there is one of the most professional handmade soap identification methods, which is to cut a small piece of soap with a thickness of about 1 mm, burn it with a lighter, and then melt the soap liquid with white paper. When burned, the soap flakes are charred and emit a pungent odor indicating that there is a foaming agent in the soap, while the blackening of the melted soap liquid proves that there is a drawing agent and pigment, and the soap that drops on the paper leaves brown markings on the paper after solidifying, which proves that it is made with industrial oil. And when burned, there is no reaction, just the appearance of melting, which proves that this is a piece of handmade soap without any chemical additives.
