Sword and Fairy 4 cannot be played after a window appears

It's not that you don't have enough configuration.

Symptom: No output is displayed.

Workaround: Check if the physical connection is correct:

1.Press the FN+F7 key combination to switch the output between the LCD and the external display;

Note: There are three combined output modes (LCD output, external display output, LCD and external display output at the same time).

Note: The display screen in VGA mode (640x480, 16 colors) will be smaller than the full-size display screen, and the color will be rough due to only 16 colors;

7.If it shows normal in the BIOS, then confirm that the system has installed the latest BIOS program;

Query the latest BIOS file.

8.Check whether the latest graphics card drivers have been installed and whether the graphics card drivers are installed normally as prompted.

Solution: Check if the software settings are correct.

1.Confirm that the correct resolution and color depth are set;

Note: If the resolution set is less than the size of the screen, then a black border may appear on the edge of the LCD.

Most of the ThinkPad models use a screen resolution of 1024x768;

Some ThinkPad models can support screen extension, but the text may become blurry after the screen is expanded;

2.Confirm that the advanced settings in the display properties are correct, including monitor type, refresh rate, and hardware acceleration, etc.;

Note: Most of the ThinkPad models use the IBM ThinkPad 1024x768 LCD Panel, 60Hz refresh rate, and full hardware acceleration.

3.Confirm that the screen is clean;

What pops up, let's be clear, and you try it with compatible windows.

I suggest you go for a modifier called 'Fall', or some other archive modifier. Then use it to jump to a closer level (just a little bit back). That is, skip the level where the program error will occur and continue to play the following.
