If DHCP is disabled on the secondary router, the key is that the secondary router must have the DWS function and enable it. The two routers can't be connected to the network cable, otherwise there will be a broadcast storm!

1. Confirm the main wireless routing parameters.

Confirm the wireless signal name, wireless encryption method, wireless password, and wireless channel of the primary router.

Note: Before setting up, the wireless channel of the main router needs to be fixed.

2. Set up the secondary router.

1. Modify the wireless parameters and turn on the WDS scan signal.

Connect the computer to the sub-router, log in to the management interface, click Wireless Settings >> Wireless Basic Settings, modify the SSID number to be the same as the main router, fix the channel, check to enable WDS, and click Scan.

It seems that DIR605 doesn't need to turn on the WDS mode if you call the shots, and you can set the WDS mode in the 514R.

DHCP, both should be opened (preferably the IP segment does not conflict) in 514R, where the gateway is filled in 605 gateway, DNS is also filled in 605, probably this is OK.

For the 605 WDS function seems to be very wasteful, open WDS or WDS+AP without connecting to the Internet.

For D-Link's wireless scrambling router, the basic configuration is as follows:

1. Log in to the router configuration page.

Open the browser and enter it in the address bar, the default user name of D-Link is admin, and the password is empty.

2.
