Is there a relationship between public servants and the masses?

There are three kinds of relationships between them: 1. The relationship between fish and water; 2. Oil-water relationship; 3. The relationship between fire and water. At present, party members and cadres have the problem of slowing down the relatively serious problem of separating themselves from the masses, and they are vigorously grasping the building of party style and striving to close the relationship between the party and the masses and between the cadres and the masses.

Truly regard the difficulties of the masses as their own, let them feel, feel, and move, and make them feel warm. Through zero-distance contact with the masses, we patiently explain hot and difficult issues, resolve contradictions in a timely manner, eliminate ideological and emotional fluctuations in a timely manner, and do everything possible to extend a warm helping hand to family difficulties, so as to truly achieve the work in the hearts of the masses.

Understanding what the masses are thinking, hoping for, and complaining about requires that our civil servants at all levels persist in facing the masses, serving the masses, and going deep among the masses in their work, doing real things, always keeping the safety and well-being of the masses in mind, taking leading the people to get rich as the first pursuit, and taking whether the masses support or not, approve or disapprove, be happy or unhappy, and agree or not as the criterion for judging work.

It is necessary to further strengthen the consciousness of the masses, show concern for the weal and woe of the masses, bow down to observe the people's feelings, conform to the will of the people, and adhere to the idea of "not seeking to make officials bigger, but seeking to do things well." Correctly grasp the relationship with the masses of the people, put the position with the masses of the people in a correct position, persist in respecting the masses ideologically, being close to the masses emotionally, and relying on the masses in work, and implement the party's fundamental purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly in the practice of uniting and relying on the masses to carry out work. Only in this way can our civil servants at all levels continue to adhere to the mass line in the new period and new situation.

The question of attitude toward the masses of the people is, in the final analysis, a matter of feelings. Rationality is reasonable. Only when the emotional problem is resolved can we correct our attitude toward the masses and can we always stand on the stand of the masses of the people and sincerely seek the interests of the people.

In order to continuously enhance our feelings with the masses of the people, we civil servants at all levels must, like Zheng Peimin, put down their shelves, often go deep into the grassroots masses, especially those who have difficulties of one kind or another in production and life, show concern for their lives, feel their weal and woe, and listen to their voices. It is necessary to think about what the masses think, be anxious about what the masses are anxious about, do what the masses need, always keep the safety and well-being of the masses in mind, always regard the voices of the masses as the first signal, the needs of the masses as the first choice, and the satisfaction of the masses as the first criterion.
