The origin of 14 hours: the first generation of nickel-cadmium batteries need to be charged at a small rate, and it is generally recommended that the charging current is 1 10C, for example, if your battery capacity is 600mAh, then 1C is 600mA, and 1 10C is 60mA. Therefore, it takes more than 10 hours to fully charge, and for nickel-cadmium batteries, small rate charging is beneficial.

The current battery situation of mobile phones: mainstream mobile phones are basically lithium-ion batteries, and the closest to our impression should be 3210, equipped with nickel-metal hydride batteries, and it seems that we can't find mobile phones with nickel-metal hydride batteries around us.

3. Knowledge of lithium-ion batteries: We only talk about capacity on the one hand. There are two ways to measure the capacity of a lithium-ion battery:

1C charge and discharge; Charging and discharging, no matter what charging system is used, should meet the standard. Because lithium-ion batteries are different from previous nickel-cadmium batteries, the high-rate charging of 1C is already acceptable, and it must be accepted. And if a 600mAh battery is charged at 1C, it should be fully charged in about 1 hour, and if the phone is directly charged this way (many are, 12-14 hours is nonsense.

According to the GB T18287 2000 national standard, when the constant current is charged, the constant voltage is changed, and the charging is considered to be terminated when the current drops. For example, the charging current of the charger is that if you charge a 600mAh battery, the charging current will drop to 6mAh in about 2 hours, and it is considered to be fully charged. Why did it come down?

4. What counts as "activation"? The lithium-ion battery itself is "live", if the design capacity is 600mah, although I charge it for 2 hours, I will be full, and then discharge, I can get a capacity of 600mah, and the design capacity has reached it, what is the problem of whether it is alive or not? 5. Charging for 14 hours is to deceive yourself: direct charging with a mobile phone, about 2 hours is full, and the remaining time is the time of the "baking" machine, if there is an error in the charging control of the mobile phone (there are some), then it is the time to test the battery.
