The computer indicates that the virtual memory is insufficient.
1. Infected with the virus!
Some viruses take up a lot of memory space when they break out, causing the system to run out of memory. Hurry up and go to the antivirus, upgrade the virus database, and then get the antivirus measures right!
2. Improper setting of virtual memory.
Improper setting of virtual memory may also lead to the problem of insufficient memory, under normal circumstances, the size of virtual memory is 2 times the size of physical memory, if it is set too small, it will affect the normal operation of system programs. Resize virtual memory Take WinXP as an example, right-click "My Computer", select "Properties", then in the "Advanced" tab, click the "Settings" button in the "Performance" box, switch to the "Advanced" tab, and then click the "Change" button in the "Virtual Memory" box, then reset the virtual memory size, and restart the system when you are done.
The virtual memory is insufficient because the virtual memory settings in Windows are too small or the hard disk space where the virtual memory is located is insufficient. It is recommended to place the virtual memory in a different partition from the operating system, and set a fixed size, generally 1 5 times the memory capacity of the system; Right-click "My Computer", select "Properties", pop up the system properties window, select the "Performance Options" tab, click the "Virtual Memory" button below, pop up the virtual memory settings window, click the "User Specify Virtual Memory Settings" radio button, "Hard Disk", please select the partition with a larger remaining space, and then enter the appropriate range value in the "Minimum" and "Maximum" text boxes. If you're having trouble using your system to get the maximum and minimum values, you can choose to "let Windows manage the virtual memory settings", but make sure that the partition where the virtual memory is located has enough space left (more than twice the system memory).
3. Insufficient system space.
The virtual memory file is in the system disk by default, such as the virtual memory file name of WinXP, if the remaining space of the system disk is too small, resulting in insufficient virtual memory, there will also be a problem of insufficient memory. The system disk must reserve at least 300MB of free space, of course, this value depends on the actual needs of the user. Try not to install various application software in the system disk, ensure that there is enough space for virtual memory files, and it is best to place virtual memory files in non-system disks.
4. Because the system user permission is not set properly.
When a Windows system based on the NT kernel is started, the system user creates a virtual memory file for the system. For the sake of system security, some users use the NTFS file system, but the system user's permission to "write" and "modify" in the system disk is canceled, so that it is impossible to create virtual memory files for the system, and the problem of insufficient memory will also occur when running large programs. The problem is easy to solve, just re-grant the system user the "write" and "modify" permissions, but this is limited to users who use the ntfs file system.

Virtual memory: 1. Right-click [My Computer] [Properties] [Advanced] tab, 2. Click [Settings] in the [Performance] column to continue clicking the [Advanced] tab, 3. Click [Change] in the [Virtual Memory] column to pop up the [Virtual Memory] dialog box, and you can set it.
4. Select [Custom Size], set 1024 in [Initial Size], and set 2048 in [Maximum] (cannot exceed the memory addressing range of the 32-bit operating system - 4GB).
Finally, click [Settings] to take effect. If necessary, restart your computer.
It is recommended that you move the virtual memory to a disk other than the C drive, such as the D drive. to reduce the pressure on the system disk.
Method: Still in the [Virtual Memory] dialog box, click the C drive label, and select [No paging size].
Then select the D drive label, select [Custom Size], and set [Initial Size] and [Maximum].

Virtual memory is a technology for memory management in computer systems. It makes the application think that it has contiguous free memory (a contiguous complete address space), when in reality it is usually divided into multiple physical memory fragments, and some are temporarily stored on external disk storage for data exchange when needed. The following is a solution to the low minimum value of Windows virtual memory that I have collected and organized, welcome to read.
Click on My Computer, right-click on the Properties button, if not, click on the Start button in the bottom left corner of the computer screen, find My Computer inside, right-click on Properties.
Go to the Select Advanced button.
There is a performance below, click the settings button in the performance bar.
Then select the advanced option again.
Select System Cache in the Memory Usage column.
6 Then it will prompt to shut down and restart, click OK, OK is done.
The Windows operating system uses virtual memory to dynamically manage runtime swap files. In order to provide more memory capacity than the actual physical memory for use, the Windows operating system takes up a portion of the space on the hard disk as virtual memory. When the CPU asks for it, it reads the data in memory first. >>>More
