Grammatical metaphor is an important means for human beings to understand the world, which can transform events, activities, emotions, thoughts, etc. into entities (Lakoff & Jonson, 1980). Halliday (1985) argues that grammatical metaphors do not replace one word for another, but rather replace another grammatical category or grammatical structure with another.
