Robin Hood is a famous heroic figure in English folklore.
Legend has it that Robin Hood lived in the Nottingham area of England in the 14th and 15th centuries, and was declared an "outlaw" whose life and property were not protected by law because he shot and killed a powerful man for saving his lover, the aristocratic Miss Marianne. Robin Hood was forced to flee to the Shewood Royal Forest in Nottingham, where Robin Hood met John the Little, a serf-turned-outlaw, and his sidekicks, who banded together to open a secret camp for the outsiders in the forest. From then on, the outlaws became famous for rebelling against the oppression of the county guards, punishing nobles and monks who passed through the forest, and helping others who were oppressed by the powerful.

Video reviews
The performances of the main actors of Robin Hood Origins are commendable, and they all add vivid emotions to their respective roles. Taron Edgerton's interpretation of Robin Hood is more charming and childish than Kevin Costner's version of Robin Hood in 1991.
Ben Mendelsohn showed his frustration with the situation with just his eyes. Jamie Foxx's performance is an integral part of the film's emotional arousal, and his training with Taron Edgerton and teaming up to fight the villain are the highlights of the film.
