What should I learn before applying for ACCA?

Founded in 1904, ACCA is currently the world's leading professional accountant body, and it is also the professional accountant organization with the largest number of overseas students and the fastest growing number of students in the world. Eligibility. a.Students with a college degree or above recognized by the Ministry of Education can register as a regular student of ACCA.

b.Students who are enrolled in higher education institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education and have successfully passed all the course examinations in the first year of study can register as ACCA.

c.Applicants who do not meet the above qualifications and are over the age of 21 can follow the Adult Candidate (MSER) route to apply for membership. This route allows students to study as ACCA External Scholars and only need to pass four examinations and two courses in the first two years before continuing to sit for other courses as full students.

The results of the examinations for December and June are announced in February and August respectively. Each student who has passed all of the ACCA exams will then receive an Application Handbook for Membership or Associate Member by the ACCA UK Headquarters (usually received in early March and early September). Each person must apply to ACCA UK for membership or associate membership based on their own circumstances, such as whether they meet the relevant work experience requirements of ACCA.

Upon receipt of the student's application, both the applicant member and the associate member will be issued with an ACCA Associate Membership Certificate to confirm that the student has successfully passed all the examinations.

3.For students who apply for membership, they are required to fill in the membership application manual truthfully, and summarize the main work experience and work ability in the STR (Student Training Record) that are usually recorded, and fill in the application manual (STR can be temporarily waived when submitting the membership application form, however, once ACCA's UK headquarters informs them that STR needs to be submitted in order to obtain more detailed information to complete the assessment, students need to submit STR again). The ACCA UK headquarters will assess the work records and contact their supervisor to verify that they are correct, and then approve them as ACCAA members, a process that usually takes two months.
