"Night Rain Sends North".He was a poet of the Tang DynastyLi Shangyinof poems.
Translation of the whole poem:If you ask about the return date, it is difficult to say for sure. Bashan.
Heavy rain overnight, full of autumn pools. When will I be able to return to my hometown, cut candles with you under the west window, and confide in each other the feelings of missing in the night rain of Bashan tonight, how good it would be!
The full poem is as follows:Jun asked that the return date was not scheduled, and the night rain in Bashan rose in the autumn pool. He cut the candles in the west window together, but when it rained at night in Bashan.
Appreciation of the Lu Tomato Analysis:
The first sentence of this poem, "The gentleman asks about the return date", a question and an answer, first pause, then turn, ups and downs, very expressive. The sorrow of his detention and the pain of not being able to return have been vividly revealed. Next, I wrote about the foreground at this time:
Bashan night rain rises autumn pool", that has jumped on the paper of the sorrow of the detention and the pain of not returning, it is intertwined with the night rain, dense, dripping, full of autumn pool, permeated in the night sky of Bashan.
He dang", a word that expresses wishes, sells Liang bursts out from the reality of "the gentleman asks for the return date"; "Co-cut ......But he ......It is a vision of the joy of the future that is stimulated by the suffering of the present. Looking forward to "cutting the candles in the west window" after returning, it is self-evident to think about returning at this time. Looking forward to his reunion with his wife one day, "but when it rains at night in Bashan", then at this time, "listening to the night rain in Bashan alone" has long been observed and no one speaks, and it is not known.
Cut the candle alone, and stay awake at night.
It is not difficult to imagine the depression and loneliness of his state of mind when he reads his wife's letter asking about the return date in the sound of the autumn rain in Bashan, and the return date is uncertain.

The translation of "Night Rain Sending North" is as follows:
You ask me when I'm going home, and I can't set a date for me to go home! The only thing I can tell you at this time is the endless night rain in Bashan that is filling the autumn pool.
If there was a day when we sat together under the west window of our home, cut candles together, and poured out our thoughts to each other in the night rain in Bashan tonight, how nice would it be!
Original text: Li Shangyin of the Tang Dynasty "Night Rain Sent North".
Jun asked that the return date was not scheduled, and the night rain in Bashan rose in the autumn pool.
He Zaoxun cut the candles in the west window together, but talked about the night rain in Bashan.
Background: This poem is selected from the third volume of "Yuxi Sheng Poems", which is the work of Li Shangyin's relatives and friends in Chang'an when he stayed in Bashu (now Sichuan Province). Because Chang'an is in the north of Bashu, it is inscribed as "Night Rain Sending North".
Theme appreciation: The first two sentences of the poem use questions and answers and descriptions of the current environment, expounding the feelings of loneliness and the deep longing for his wife. The last two beats of the rock movement sentence imagine the joy of reuniting and talking in the coming day, contrasting with the loneliness of tonight.
This poem is improvised and writes about the twists and turns of the poet's emotions in an instant.
The language is simple, and there is no trace of modification in the choice of words and sentences. Unlike most of Li Xianliang Shangyin's poems, which show gorgeous rhetoric, exquisite diction, and a style that is long in symbolism and suggestion, this poem is simple and natural, and also has the artistic characteristics of "deep sustenance and tactful wording".
