It's simple. You align the lines you need to connect (or align the dots, or cross them, or have no intersections), depending on how you need them. Use the selection tool, which is the arrow, to draw a box to select all of them, or click and hold a line and hold down the shift key to select all the other connections that need to be connected.
After that there are two ways to get it connected.
One is that you need to right-click on the group (Ctrl+G) after selecting all the lines you want to connect so that they are one, of course, you can ungroup each line segment at any time.
The other is that after all the lines you need to connect are selected, there will be several tools with overlapping shapes of two squares in the toolbar at the top of the screen, click the first one is "welding" (I really don't know the shortcut key, hehe) so that the line you want will become one.
The reason why you can't color is because you want a line, which belongs to the "outline", so you can't use the left button to color. You can only fill in by right-clicking on the selected color, or there's an "outline tool" in the toolbar on the left side of the screen that you can choose from.

Hello, I have also encountered this situation of yours. It's very simple, just 2 steps:
1. First of all, you need to select the two points to be connected, and you can hold down shift to add them.
2. Click (Arrange) menu Closed Path (last option).
Close the short open path in turn, and you can fill in the color!
You want to give me extra points, huh.

I learned to find beauty.
On the growing boulevard, beauty is like a colorful little flower on the roadside, dancing in the spring rain, swaying in the vigorous summer thunder, spinning in the bleak autumn wind, and standing tall in the winter snow. As long as you observe carefully and keep an eye on your surroundings, you will find that, in fact, beauty is all around us. >>>More
