As Hui Neng said, the benevolent heart is moved, and as the Taoist said, the Tao can be the Tao, the Tao is very Tao, their principles are the same, Buddhism pays attention to all things in the heart, the pursuit of cultivation, Taoism pays attention to the pursuit of no worries, the pursuit of escapism, Buddhism wants to transcend this world, Taoism is the practice of this world, and the principle is a kind of practice, and the ultimate is a kind of detachment, but not a deliberate seeking, the main purpose is in the heart, people in the world, there is no law, and then they know that there is no law; The affairs of the world are still unfinished, so why not do it.

The second poem is also written by Huineng for Shenxiu's "Wuxiang". It is intended to illustrate the purity of the "mirror", that is, the purity of the "self", which is a subjective condition that Buddhists believe in reaching the ideal state of mind. This verse is also found in the Dunhuang manuscript "Tanjing", but according to Guo Peng's "Tanjing Proofreading", this one is a derivative text.
In particular, the first two sentences, although the positions of the words "body" and "mind" have been reversed, are actually repeating Shenxiu's words and should not be regarded as Huineng's thoughts.
