You are wrong again, dust is not dust, how can there be dust. I can't understand it, what does it mean? I think this is derived from the two sides of Shenxiu and Huineng.

Shenxiu said: "The body is a Bodhi tree, the heart is like a mirror platform, always wipe diligently, don't make dust." Huineng said

In fact, the dust is outside, the heart is inside, and it is often brushed, and the heart is pure and dust-free; The dust is inside, the heart is outside, often peeled off, no dust and no heart; There is dust in the heart, the dust is the heart, why fear the dust in the heart, there is no dust and no heart? As Hui Neng said, the benevolent heart is moved, and as the Taoist said, the Tao can be the Tao, the Tao is very Tao, their principles are the same, Buddhism pays attention to all things in the heart, the pursuit of cultivation, Taoism pays attention to the pursuit of no worries, the pursuit of escapism, Buddhism wants to transcend this world, Taoism is the practice of this world, and the principle is a kind of practice, and the ultimate is a kind of detachment, but not a deliberate seeking, the main purpose is in the heart, people in the world, there is no law, and then they know that there is no law; The affairs of the world are still unfinished, so why not do it.

It's nothingness and nothing, What dust will it be stained with?

Bodhi is just looking inwardly, so why bother to seek subtle Buddhist ideas from the outside world?

Cultivate yourself in this way, and Elysium is right in front of you!

The second poem is also written by Huineng for Shenxiu's "Wuxiang". It is intended to illustrate the purity of the "mirror", that is, the purity of the "self", which is a subjective condition that Buddhists believe in reaching the ideal state of mind. This verse is also found in the Dunhuang manuscript "Tanjing", but according to Guo Peng's "Tanjing Proofreading", this one is a derivative text.

In particular, the first two sentences, although the positions of the words "body" and "mind" have been reversed, are actually repeating Shenxiu's words and should not be regarded as Huineng's thoughts.

"The mirror is not a platform" is quoted by the sixth ancestor Huineng after listening to Shenxiu's verses. From Shenxiu's "Heart is Like a Mirror" is Shenxiu's view of "heart". The Sixth Patriarch pointed out that the "heart" is not a mirror, nor is it a platform, so there is no need to "wipe it diligently all the time", and all the Dharma does not stop.

Six Ancestors: Bodhi has no tree, the mirror is not a platform, there is nothing originally, where to stir up dust.

The six ancestors used things as metaphors, not things.

If the benevolent person knows the reason, he can not cling to things, if he does not know the reason, he can not cling to doubts, and the pure place at the moment is the place of wonderful observation.

There is no Amitabha Buddha in the south!
