After settling in New York, George Selden wrote a lot of children's literature. "Crickets in Times Square" is his masterpiece. While he lives and works in New York, he commutes to and from work by subway every day.
One night, when he was returning home and passing by the Times Square subway station, he unexpectedly heard the chirping of a cricket, and a warm current unexpectedly poured into his heart, reminding him of his hometown in distant Connecticut. So I wrote this book to find the feeling of coming home. George Selden once had a cricket.
