I'm a violin grade 10, so I'll tell you the trick: practice silent practice every day, the method is very simple: practice 1-4 fingers separately, practice one finger first, count by yourself, press your fingers when you say 1, and then lift them up when you say 2.

Practice for 10 minutes. In the practice of empty strings, all 4 strings should be pulled, 1 string should be pulled 4 times, and repeated pulls. I don't recommend sticking thin tape, because after a long time, you will become dependent.

And, of course, your natural condition, how old you are, the purpose of your studies, how much you intend to learn, and so on. If you just want to learn a few favorite songs on a whim, the second teacher's method will also work.

But if you choose to study violin professionally, you must be mentally prepared that this instrument is more difficult. To learn the violin well, basic skills are very important, such as music theory and arching.
