My grandfather and grandmother lived in the countryside. In front of my grandfather's house, there was a vegetable garden where a variety of vegetables were grown. Every time I came home, I liked to follow my grandfather to play in the vegetable patch.
Spring is coming, and the land is soft. Grandpa would turn over the soil in the vegetable garden, and then make ridges and plant seedlings of various fruits and vegetables. I followed my grandfather behind me to step on the soil and water the seedlings.
Summer is the season when vegetables are at their most luxuriant, and it's also my favorite time to go to the vegetable garden. When I walked into the vegetable garden, the first thing I saw was a field of corn, the leaves of the corn were wide and long, and they were still green, and they stood upright one by one, like soldiers guarding the garden.
Further on, you will see a square field where cucumbers, cabbage, and spinach are grown. The green seedlings of cucumbers crawled all over the shelves, and there were many emerald green cucumbers on the slender tengs. Each cucumber wears a small golden flower on its head, and many hairy thorns grow on its body, which looks very delicate, but it also the hand when touched.
The cabbage is round, like a cute doll, silly and naïve. Tomatoes grew tall, and grandpa put up shelves for them. The small persimmons knotted on it are next to each other, like close friends.
The green ones are not yet ripe, and the best ones are the ones that are red, sweet and sour when you bite into them.
Continuing inside, the innermost piece of the field was planted with sweet potatoes and taro. The sweet potatoes covered the ground with green seedlings. The leaves of the taro are like lotus leaves, green and oily.
I like to pick a taro leaf and put a little water on it, and watching the shiny droplets roll on it is very interesting! At this time, a dragonfly, a butterfly, or a few small bees will occasionally fly over to the garden, adding a lot of interest to the garden.
I love to play in this vibrant vegetable patch, I like to eat the dewy melons and fruits from the garden, and I like to watch my grandfather harvest vegetables with joyful smiles. This small vegetable garden made me realize the meaning of the phrase "only hard work can have the joy of harvest".
I love my grandfather's garden!

In my hometown, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, there is my paradise, which is the vegetable garden that my grandfather often takes me to.
There's a lot of nutritious vegetables out there. There are tomatoes, there are beans, and there are eggplant ......The rape flower alone sparked my curiosity. Why is it yellow?
Why is it called rape flower? I often stare at the rape flowers, and I look at them for a long time. If you're lucky, you'll find a caterpillar resting on top of the rape flower, which is fluffy and cute.
Once I saw a tomato in the vegetable patch, and at first I thought it was a small red ball, so I picked it up and threw it on the ground, and the ball suddenly turned into a small red cake. My grandfather was amused and said, "What are you doing?"
I'm playing with small balls. "What a ball, little granddaughter, this is obviously a tomato." When my grandfather said this, my little face was as red as a tomato.
On top of that, I also love catching butterflies, and there are many colorful butterflies dancing in that vegetable patch. Every time I caught a butterfly, I would fall a few times and get dirty. However, it doesn't affect my mood either.
This is my grandfather's vegetable garden, which has many beautiful and happy memories of me, and I will never forget the happy times I spent there. This is the paradise of my heart.
