What are the stories in folklore

Folktales are one of the important categories of folklore. Broadly speaking, a folk tale is an oral literary work in the form of fictional prose created and disseminated by working people, and is a general term for all folk prose works.

1, Meng Jiangnu digging and crying on the Great Wall.

It is widely disseminated in the form of dramas, ballads, poems, raps, etc. Legend has it that during the reign of Qin Shi Huang, Fan Xiliang and Meng Jiangnu were newly married for three days. The groom was forced to set out to build the Great Wall.

Meng Jiangnu carried cold clothes on her back, endured hardships and stood hard work, traveled thousands of miles to find her husband, and walked to the edge of the Great Wall. After three days and three nights, the city fell apart, revealing the remains of Fan Xiliang. Meng Jiangnu jumped into the sea in despair and died.

2, Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai.

Zhu Yingtai disguised himself as a man to travel, met Liang Wenwu, and fell in love at first sight. After the two of them studied together, brothers, they had a deep relationship. When they broke up, Yingtai promised Brother Liang for life in the name of "Nine Sisters".

Mr. Zhu forced his daughter to marry Ma Wencai's son outside, but British Taiwan did not follow, but Shanbo mistook Yingtai's heart and died of depression. In the tomb of Liangshan Bo, Zhu Yingtai was grief-stricken with the help of the fairy, and the two flew together and married a happy couple.

3, the legend of the White Snake.

The legend of the White Snake has a long history and is widely known. It is one of the four great legends of Chinese folklore. The mature and popular "Legend of the White Snake" in the Qing Dynasty is a model of Chinese folk collective creation.

It depicts a twisted love story between the soul of a snake and a human. The story includes the cover boat borrowing an umbrella, the white-clothed female thief Ganoderma lucidum fairy grass, the flooded gold mountain, the broken bridge, the Lei Feng Pagoda, Xu Xian's son Shilin Sacrificial Tower, and Fahai hiding the crab belly and escaping death. It expresses people's admiration for the free love of men and women, and hatred for the unreasonable bondage of feudal forces.

It was listed as the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage.

4, snail girl.

The Tianluo girl is a character in a folk tale in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. The story tells us that the emperor knew that Xie Duan's parents had died when he was young, and that he was lonely. She felt sorry for him, and saw that he was industrious, thrifty, and peaceful, so she sent the snail girl to help him.

A similar situation exists in Luohu County, Sichuan Province.

5. The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl meet at the bridge.

The matter of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl was noticed by the queen's mother, and she pulled out Jin Cai's head, and lined up between the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, and immediately there were waves, and the white waves towered over the Milky Way, and from now on, a river to the east and a river to the west, far apart, but they could not see each other.

The magpie is very sympathetic to the true love of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, and every summer and autumn, Xun Zhao takes advantage of the calm time of the Milky Way to gather on the river, open his mouth, and build a magpie bridge to bring the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl together. It is said that after Valentine's Day in China, magpies shed a lot of their feathers because of the hard work of building a bridge.
