XP is definitely SP3
Good. Currently the compatibility has been more than 2
Much better. And if you want to do a dual system.
To install XP first
Then install win7
Otherwise, you won't see XP at startup
Target. This is the rule of the old and the new. I'm xp+7 too
system. I've done a lot of this for others.

Install win7 and win10 dual system:
1. Use [U Boot USB Boot Disk Maker] to make a U disk boot disk and install it, restart the computer, after starting, it will directly enter the U boot main menu interface, select U to start Win8PE Standard Edition (new machine) and press the Enter key to enter.
2. After entering the PE system, the system will automatically pop up to start the PE installation tool, then select the win10 image file, install it in the c disk, click OK, 3, restore the operation, and then automatically restart and complete the installation of the win10 program.
4. Re-boot the U disk into the PE system, select the Win7 system image in the installation tool, and install it on the D disk, don't duplicate it with the C disk, because the C disk has been used as the system disk.
5. Uncheck the "Restart after completion" option and click OK.
6. Find the "Repair System Boot" tool on the PE desktop, run the repair system boot tool to repair the system, 7. Restart the computer after the boot repair is completed, click the win7 option, and complete the installation of the win7 program.

Install under Windows, take out the installation disk, start, after entering the interface, for example, the original system is installed on the D disk, then the C disk should be the boot disk by default, and then you install the system on the E disk, do not install it on the C disk or D disk, it is better to install it on the E disk, because if it is installed on the C disk, then the system of the D disk will not start, and the system you install on the C disk may not start, if it is installed on the D disk, then the original system will be overwritten, so, installed on the E disk, The installation procedure is the same as when installing the D drive.

I usually use the C disk to install XP in 20G,Because XP is prone to problems,Just restore it directly after there is a problem。 So if there are too many partitions, it's a bit wasteful. Then the general common software is installed on the D disk, then the D disk will have programs and other directories, so Win7 can not be installed on the D disk, otherwise there will be conflicts.
Win7 does not need to format the partition when installing, so just find a partition with a large space to install. I usually install it on the f-drive. Then it's time to install the system.
Install XP first, wait for XP to be installed, and then open the Win7 installer in the XP series. The advantage of this installation is that the partitions of both systems are in the same order and will not be messed up. If you install Win7 through a CD, then the system partition of Win7 will become a C drive, and the order of the XP system will be reversed.
That's all there is to it. I've always used a dual system.

You can install another XP on another disk.,I have a sp3 image here.,If you want to add me, I'll send it to you.,By the way, if you're an ASUS computer, you may have a bit of a problem installing a dual system.。
-
You can use the U disk to make a pre-installation environment, that is, use the U disk to install the system, use the ghost image file, when the progress bar reaches 100%, select "Continue", and then select "Start - Program - System Maintenance - System Boot Repair - Automatic Repair - Exit". After completion, restart the computer, pull out the USB flash drive, two systems will appear when restarting, select the system that has not been installed just now, click confirm, and the system will be installed automatically. Once the automatic installation is complete, the next time you reboot, you will be able to select the system.

One is a C: disk, and the other is a D: disk, (what you have a disk) can also be used to press the plate to "keep system files".

If you don't have an optical drive, it's impossible to achieve a dual system!
I can recommend a good software to you, not to mention dual systems, n systems are OK, as long as your machine configuration is high enough!
That's a virtual machine!
The more popular one now is VMwareWorkstation, a good virtual machine that can install XP
windows2000
Linux and a range of operating systems!
-
Install from a lower version to a higher version, if you need to install XP and Vista
Then you'll need to install XP and then Vista, and they'll have to be installed on a different disk.
-
Do it in life, everything is fine!

1.When installing dual systems, it is best to install a lower version of the operating system on the C disk, and then install a higher version of the operating system on the D disk, for example, install the XP operating system on the C disk, and then install the Win7 operating system on the D disk;
2.You have the original C disk is an XP operating system, you can directly install Win7 to the D disk; If it is not the original XP operating system, it is better to install the XP operating system instead, and then install the Win7 operating system to the D disk;
3.The XP operating system that installs the C disk can be installed directly with the GhostXP clone disc, but the win7 operating system is best not to use the win7 clone disc to install, but to install with the installation disk, so that the system will directly generate the boot menu after installation, so that it is easy to select the operating system at startup;
4.Before installing the system, please set the computer to boot on the optical drive, so that the computer can be booted through the system disc to enter the installation interface to install the system. For specific operations, please follow the CD-ROM prompts to complete the operation.
-
The first thing to do is to have a bootable system CD, not a clone disk. Install the old system first and then the new system in the order of the old and new systems to avoid overwriting the boot file. The system can be installed in different partitions. The operation is basically the same as that of a single system.

I'll give you the next steps: >>>More
1. Open the Xiaoyu system and reinstall the system software. >>>More
Find a boot disk first, U disk, CD is OK, boot, if it's a Windows installation disk, boot to the console and run MBRFIX, if it's a DOS boot disk, use fdisk MBR, so that MBR is snatched from GRUB by Windows, and the boot goes directly into Windows. >>>More
Since your computer has enough configuration for you to play XP and Win7 system, then please choose to install XP under Win7, VM use VMware Workstation, network selection bridge, XP directly install Win7 method, go to the Internet**daemon tools, directly load the image to install Win7 on it (this method is only valid for Win7 original image, the original image can be on Verycd**).
1. Select the system image file according to the memory size. >>>More
