Although the expedition still failed to find an answer to this strange phenomenon, the experiment confirmed Murridionla's hypothesis that the gravitational pull of Cape Barromo was a paroxysm of moving friends. At least, this experiment provided a lesson for future expeditions, Artoona explained: "Perhaps it was the wildlife of Baromo that mastered this pattern through experience and instinct and were able to escape from death and survive."
