Buddhism is a series of meditation training methods to remove our suffering and problems and achieve inner peace.
1. Only by connecting the Dharma with one's own heart can the Dharma be able to get rid of one's own pain and suffering. The Buddhist concepts of concentration, emptiness, selflessness, non-action, and enlightenment represent different states of liberation within our minds. When we seal them one by one in our hearts, we can know how these liberation methods remove our suffering and afflictions.
If we don't connect with our hearts, it's hard to really know how these Dharma things bring us to peace of mind, and at most we've learned a few Dharma terms.
2. Turn the Dharma to your heart so that you can know how the Dharma removes all the causes of your suffering. Greed, hatred, separation, attachment, and distractions are the causes of our suffering and afflictions. Resentment, anxiety, tension, and sorrow are manifestations of our suffering. The purpose of Dharma meditation is to remove these causes from our hearts, so that we no longer have painful emotions in our hearts.
When we go deep into our hearts, we can discover how much greed and hatred we have, how strong our distinctions, how stubborn our attachments, and how many chaotic distractions we have. By cultivating concentration within oneself, one can stop all this and continue to work. By completely emptying all these things in my heart, I can calm down all my resentment, anxiety, nervousness, and sorrow.
3. By relying on the Dharma to turn to our own hearts, we can achieve peace step by step. Everyone's heart will change all the time with the changes of external objects, and their hearts are always fluctuating, and there is no time for peace. This is because we grow up and only pay attention to the changes in the people and things around us.
Buddhism teaches us to pay attention to our hearts, to learn to stabilize our hearts, not to distinguish and judge external objects, but to engage with everyone around us with a calm mind.
This process can be experienced slowly from the moment we study the Dharma and turn to our own hearts. Through continuous meditation on the Dharma, we can know how our hearts are purified step by step, and eventually we can attain complete purity.

Because that's how you can change yourself, and in doing so, you can calm yourself down and learn something.
-
Because learning the Dharma is to take refuge in all thoughts, to be liberated from troubles, and the last thing to ask is your own heart, and only if you convince yourself, there will be less pressure.

Amitabha.
To study Buddhism, we should look at the Buddhist scriptures and the teachings of the great masters, and don't look at some Buddhism learning materials that you don't know the source, because many mistakes or imperfections will damage your Dharma body and wisdom.
You can practice the Pure Land Method. On the Internet, it is very easy to find the "Understanding Buddhism" of Master Jingkong's teachings, the Sutra of Amitayus, the Sutra of Ten Good Karma, etc., Master Jingkong--- so all the scriptures that the Buddha said are the standards of our practice. Correcting one's wrong behavior is called spiritual practice. Our thoughts, opinions, words, and deeds correspond to what the scriptures say, which is good and correct; If it does not correspond to what the scriptures say, we must realize that we are wrong.
If it's wrong, you have to fix it quickly, and that's called practice.
1.What is spiritual practice? Correcting one's wrong behavior is called spiritual practice.
In the past, we didn't come into contact with the Dharma, and no one explained to us the great truth of life in the universe and the truth about life in the universe, so our thoughts were wrong, our views were wrong, our Dharma and our practices were wrong, and this was a wrong behavior. Wrong behavior attracts the retribution of the six paths and three paths, and the wrong behavior realizes this realm; Now we have come to our senses and corrected these wrongdoings. We can't rely on the Dharma without relying on the Dharma for the right and wrong standards, so we have to build firm faith in the Dharma.
The Buddha is a person who has come from the past, and we don't believe in the words of the people who have come before, but whose words do we believe? Therefore, all the sutras that the Buddha said are the standards for our practice. Our thoughts, opinions, words, and deeds correspond to what the scriptures say, which is good and correct; If it does not correspond to what the scriptures say, we must realize that we are wrong.
If it's wrong, you have to fix it quickly, and that's called practice.
2.Therefore, in practice, fellow practitioners should remember that it is not how many sutras are recited, how many Buddha names are recited, and how many big heads are kowtowed every day. What does that say?
Belief. The Buddha has four kinds of sutras, teachings and deeds, and you have only one; You have only one way to practice on your own, the Faith and Interpretation Practice.
3.I believe in religion, I don't understand reason, I don't practice, although I recite scriptures and Buddha every day, I still think nonsense, and I still do things that harm others and benefit myself, and do these things. Not only do you not get the merits and benefits mentioned in the Buddhist scriptures, but you are also creating sinful karma.
Therefore, it is not possible to believe in religion, but to dissect; If you understand it, you can't do it, you have to practice; Cultivation works. Even if there is no result in your practice, you decide not to fall into the evil path. You are a true cultivator, and your cultivation efforts have not reached home, but when you get home, you will prove the fruit; If the effort does not reach home, even if it does not prove the fruit, it will be rewarded by heaven, and this decision is reliable.

To put it simply, there are three steps: listening to the Dharma (mainly reading the Buddhist scriptures) and thinking about the Dharma, that is, seeking enlightenment, that is, seeing the mind, and practicing the Dharma, that is, doing and thinking according to the Dharma.
The Buddhist scriptures for beginners include the Eight Great Enlightenment Sutras, the Forty-two Chapters Sutra, and the Buddha Says the Amitabha Sutra.
Further, there are the Diamond Sutra, the Heart Sutra, the Yuanjue Sutra, the Lotus Sutra, etc.
Then, there are the Lenga Sutra, the Lengyan Sutra, the Six Patriarch Altar Sutra, the Huayan Sutra and so on.
