From ancient mythology or contemporary immortal cultivation fantasy**, it can be understood that the level of immortals also has its own system.
If you only have a rank, don't have a position, the lowest level of the immortal is the Heavenly Immortal Mirror.
The orthodox immortal division system is roughly as follows: Tianxian Realm, True Immortal Realm (Taiyi True Immortal), Xuan Immortal Realm (Da Zhi Xuan Xian), Jin Xian Realm (Da Luo Jin Xian.
Immortal Monarch Realm, Immortal Venerable Realm, Immortal Emperor Realm.
-
The immortals are divided into nine levels: one, upper immortal, two, high immortal, three, too immortal, four, Xuan immortal, five, heavenly immortal, six, true immortal, seven, immortal, eight, spirit immortal, nine, and supreme immortal. In the Sanqing Heaven, every day, there are three palaces on the left, middle and right, and each palace has immortal kings, immortal princes, immortal qing, immortal uncles, immortal doctors, etc., the appearance of immortal officials reflects more the size of power, rather than the ability to cultivate skills, and the immortal world has also become a hierarchical bureaucracy.
However, just like the real court in the world, there are always free hermits, in the fairy world, they are scattered immortals, not immortal officials, nor attendants. It is also an immortal life, but it is not ranked in the immortal class, so it is naturally slightly lower than the immortal official. The Eight Immortals are actually scattered immortals, after all, they don't serve in the Heavenly Court.
In short, the so-called immortalization of mortals is only a key first step for monks to take a crucial step on the long road of cultivation, and there is still a long way to go after mortals become immortals, so monks must not be arrogant after achieving certain achievements!

The ranks of the immortals are divided as follows:
1. God-man. Generally speaking, the gods are relatively far away, and they are the immortals who have attained the avenue of heaven and earth in ancient times and even in ancient times, such as Nuwa, Fuxi, Shennong, Zhurong, Gonggong, Xingtian, Sanqing and Four Emperors, etc.
Second, real people. Speaking of real people, there must be bad readers and friends who think of the twelve golden immortals under the throne of Yuan Shi Tianzun in "Fengshen List", such as Taiyi Zhenren, Huanglong Zhenren, etc. The real people here are a little different from the real people in "The God List". The real person here is another name for Tianzun.
It refers to the ancient Taoism and Taoism that cultivated the truth and attained the Tao (becoming an immortal), understood the universe and the origin of life, and truly awakened and enlightened people were called real people (i.e., Tianzun). It represents the Taoist idea that immortals can learn and Tianzun can become successful.
3. Immortals. Everyone is familiar with immortals, whether it is gaining the Tao in the daytime or dissolving the flesh, or building a foundation and alchemying to ascend to immortals, they can all be classified as this category. Here I don't compare the skills and mana of the immortals, but only talk about the genus. There are too many immortals in China, according to the ancient book "The Legend of the Immortals", there are 71.
Fourth, the Taoist. Since it is said that Taoism must be inseparable from Taoism, the immortals here are all immortals from the Taoist cultivators, in Chinese Taoist mythology, in addition to the three Qing, the four royals, and the four real people, the most respected should belong to the four heavenly masters of Taoism.
5. Saints. This road of immortals are worshiped and admired by the people of the world, and it can be said that everyone in the world knows and is famous for eternity. Originally, the power of the gods was caused by people's beliefs, and only with faith can there be divine power. Since ancient times, there are not a few saints among the gods.
Sixth, the sage. The sage, the law of heaven and earth, like the sun and the moon, distinguish the stars, follow the yin and yang, and distinguish the four times, which will contract the Tao from ancient times, and can also make longevity and have the ultimate time. Since ancient times, the great sages must become immortals after their deaths, and the sages will assist the king to govern the country and comfort the people of Li. For example, Bi Gan, who was dug out of his heart in the Shang Dynasty, was 20 years old and assisted Emperor Yi of Shang in a high position, and was entrusted with the assistance of Emperor Xin, and was named a god after his death.
The origin of the idea of immortals
It is not accidental that it appeared on the stage of history during the Warring States Period and the Qin and Han Dynasties, but the result of the fact that the original immortal ideas of the people had encountered the historical background of the Warring States Period, the Qin and Han Dynasties, and the downward movement of knowledge and social changes. However, before the emergence of Taoist thought represented by "Lao Tzu", because there was no theoretical basis, this kind of imagination could only be utopian.
The cosmology and dialectics of Lao Tzu provided a philosophical basis for the naturalism of Zhuangzi and the Huang Lao thought, which devoted himself to the study of strategy and the use of soldiers. The development of these two during the Warring States period brought great changes to the intellectual and cultural landscape of the time. For the immortals, the different schools formed by the two development tendencies of Laozi, Zhuangzi's real person thought and Huang Lao's criminal name thought, are the sources of their knowledge.

As long as a god has supernatural abilities, he can be called a god. There are innate gods such as Pangu Nuwa, Haotian God, Sanqing Tianzun, etc., and acquired gods, such as Guan Yu and the like. Immortals first appeared in the Taoist Taiping Sutra, and Taoist priests can live forever after cultivation.
In the Taoist Taiping Sutra "Nine Heavens to Eliminate the Disaster Law of the First King", a relatively complete Taoist immortal system is recorded, which is divided into heavenly monarchs, heavenly masters, real people, immortals, Taoists, saints, sages, mortals, slaves and maids, a total of nine. The Heavenly Monarch and the Heavenly Master belong to the Heavenly Gods (the Heavenly Monarch is equivalent to the innate gods, and the Heavenly Master is equivalent to the gods), and the real immortals belong to the earth gods. Taoists belong to cultivators and immortal cultivators, and sages and sages belong to mortals with high status and strong abilities.
In later generations, "Hug Puzi" mentioned that the innate gods were unattainable by ordinary immortal cultivators, and the highest level that could be reached was the heavenly master. Later, it was divided into five immortals, among which the highest heavenly immortals were equivalent to the innate gods and gods, the immortals were equivalent to the heavenly masters, the earth immortals were equivalent to the real immortals, the human immortals were equivalent to the cultivators, and the ghosts and immortals were the lowest after their deaths.

Generally speaking, it is said that the level of gods is higher than that of immortalsBut in fact, gods and immortals in mythology do not belong to the same system, and it cannot be said which level is higher.
There is a difference between gods and immortals, and they cannot be compared with high and low due to their wide range. God, there is the blessing of heaven and man, but there is no reward of heaven and man (enjoy the blessing of heaven and man but not heaven and man); Immortals, there are earthly immortals, flying immortals and heavenly immortals, from low to high. Gods are reincarnated after death, and immortals are cultivators, and there are extremely large numbers.
Gods can be broadly divided into four categories:
The first category is the Most High God. "Shuo Wen Jie Zi" explains "God" as: "The god of heaven leads to all things." This is what God meant in the first place. For example, Taoism's Lao Tzu, Sanqing, Yuan Shi Tianzun, Jade Emperor and so on.
The second category is the gods of nature, such as the god of the sun, the god of the moon, the god of the mountain, the god of the river, and so on. This is supposed to be a remnant of the original cult.
Zhuangzi. "Getaway" said: The mountain of contempt and shooting, there are gods and people living in the mountains, the skin is like ice and snow, the skin is like a virgin, does not eat grains, sucks wind and drinks dew, rides the clouds, flies the dragon, and swims beyond the four seas. This should also be considered a kind of nature god.
The third category is the inner god. Taoism believes that all organs in the human body are controlled by gods, such as the three corpse gods, the five visceral gods, and so on. Chapter 7 of the Yellow Court Sutra begins with a list of names of the inner gods for meditation. That's why meditation is also called contemplation.
The fourth category is the most numerous type of gods, that is, ghosts and gods, which are usually elected as gods by worshippers or believers after death, or officially canonized as gods. For example, Wu Zixu is believed by the people as the tide god of Qiantang.

Taoism has five levels of immortals:
1. The patriarch of the Sanqing Dynasty is the Mixed Yuan Daluo Jinxian, supreme;
2. There is a big Luo Jinxian auxiliary under it; For example, the Jade Emperor.
3. There is a golden immortal steward below; For example, the God of Martial Wealth, the God of Wealth, the God of Wealth, and the King of Tota.
4. There is a fairy errand again; For example, heavenly soldiers and generals.
5. The most important is the earth immortal, and the earth immortal has no body, only spiritual consciousness. We often say that the land lord is the earth fairy. Zhong Kui also belongs to this class.

In the Oriental Fantasy**, immortals are immortals who have ascended through cultivation, and the hierarchy of immortals is divided as follows:
The more orthodox division system of immortals is roughly: Tianxian Realm, True Immortal Realm (Taiyi True Immortal), Xuan Immortal Realm (as big as Xuan Xian), Golden Immortal Realm (Da Luo Jin Xian), Immortal Monarch Realm, Immortal Zun Realm, and Immortal Emperor Realm.
The first to put forward the concept of cultivating the truth or cultivating immortals was "Ethereal Journey", but it was very immature and not rigorous at that time, and later after the improvement of many big coffee authors of online cultivation, a more orthodox and mature system of cultivating immortals was formed. There are more authoritative cultivation of immortals on the Internet, such as "Hundred Refinements into Immortals", "Immortal Rebellion", "The Strongest Abandonment of the Young", "The Legend of Mortal Cultivation of Immortals", "I Want to Seal the Sky", "Cultivating Immortals Maniac", "Xiuzhen World", etc.
