Old Master--- Buddha does not save sentient beings, because it is you who have self-realization, self-cultivation, self-certification, and self-control. The Buddha told us very frankly in the Diamond Sutra that if the Buddha does not save sentient beings, how do sentient beings live? Treat yourself yourself.
The Buddha's help to sentient beings is just to educate them – the Buddha explains the karmic karma of your past and present lives clearly, so that you can become enlightened yourself.
The Buddha sees that we are confused and upside down, and he uses all kinds of conveniences to induce us and open us, hoping that we will suddenly become enlightened and return to rigpa, which is the Buddha's salvation for sentient beings.
The old mage--- self-discipline is to save him, self-discipline and degree he is one and not two, and he has done a good job, and the image of doing a good job can be shown to others, which can influence people. If you can't save yourself, but want to save others, the Buddha often says in the scriptures that "nothing is good", there is no such reason! Therefore, in order to help Buddhism transform sentient beings, we must first conscientiously follow the teachings ourselves.

The Dharma is to benefit all sentient beings, that is, to save others and save oneself. To save oneself is to realize oneself, and to save others is to make others enlightened. But there are three things a Buddha can't do: one is that he can't save sentient beings, the second is that he can't save all sentient beings, and the third is that he can't destroy his karma.

"Crossing others but not crossing oneself" means: it is easy to know others and difficult to know oneself, the accurate angle of the bystander, the clear eyes, just because the body is not in it. When faced with your own doubts, you can't answer them. Crossing others is like crossing oneself, and crossing oneself is also crossing others.
Allusion: The monk and the butcher are friends. The monk would get up in the morning to recite the sutras, and the butcher would get up and kill the pigs.
In order not to delay their work, they agreed to wake each other up in the morning. Years later, the monk and the butcher died. As a result, the butcher went to heaven and the monk to hell.
Why? It is because: the monk is crossing the scriptures (reciting the scriptures and practicing by himself every day).
The butcher is ferrying people (asking others to recite scriptures and learn Buddhism every day to be good). Therefore, the crossing has crossed the people first, and the people have finally crossed! I only want to cross myself, I don't care about others, and I even connive at others to do evil (I ask the butcher to kill every day), but in the end I still can't cross myself.
Crossing people does not cross themselves" to form a sentence:
1. Doctors do not heal themselves, and they do not cross others.
3. In fact, crossing others is like crossing oneself, and crossing has also crossed people.
4. People say that there are people ferrying on the Lechuan River, and crossing people across the big river also crosses people to get rid of the sea of suffering, but they don't know that the ferryman has been reincarnated in Lechuan for thousands of years but does not cross by himself.

In this world, the only one who can really cross you is yourself. Don't think about asking for help from others as soon as you encounter difficulties.
You have to believe that even God can't answer your request, let alone a human being, and when others are happy, they may reach out and pull you like you. If others are unhappy, you will face the embarrassment of hitting a wall. There is a good saying, "Buddha does not cross people, people only cross themselves".
It is better to ask for others than for yourself, and those who help themselves will be helped by heaven.

One day, it was raining heavily outside, and a young man was sheltering from the rain under the eaves. Suddenly, he saw Guanyin Bodhisattva walking in front of him with an umbrella. So the young man stopped Guanyin Bodhisattva and said, "Guanyin Bodhisattva with great compassion, can you please take all sentient beings and take me for a ride?" ”
But Guanyin said to the young man, "I am in the rain, and you are under the eaves." And there's no rain under the eaves, so you don't need me to cross! ”
The young man was a little clever, and when he heard the words of Guanyin Bodhisattva, he immediately jumped out of the eaves, stood in the rain, and said to Guanyin Bodhisattva: "Guanyin Bodhisattva, now that I am also in the rain, the Bodhisattva should cross me and take me for a ride." ”
However, Guanyin remained unmoved, saying, "You are in the rain, and I am in the rain." The reason why you get caught in the rain is because you don't have an umbrella.
The reason why I don't get caught in the rain is because I have an umbrella. So I didn't cross myself, but the umbrella crossed me. So, if you want to cross, come to me, please find your own umbrella.
After saying that, he left without looking back.
After a few days, the young man encountered a difficult situation. I wanted to go to the temple to worship Guanyin and pray for the help of the Bodhisattva. And when the young man walked into the Guanyin Temple, he found that in front of Guanyin Bodhisattva, there was also a person prostrating there. And that person actually looks exactly like Guanyin Bodhisattva.
The young man was very surprised, so he stepped forward and asked, "Are you Guanyin Bodhisattva?" ”
The man said, "I am Guanyin Bodhisattva." ”
The young man was even more curious: "Then why do you bow down to yourself?" ”
Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at the young man and smiled, and said, "That's because I also encountered difficulties that I couldn't solve." However, I know that it is better to ask for myself than to ask for others! ”
This story is fictional at first glance, and it is unknown who made it up. But although the story is fictional, the truth is very real.
After all, people must learn to be self-reliant, and no one is obliged to help you for free, not even God. As the saying goes, the mountain will fall, everyone will run, and only yourself is the most reliable. No one will accompany you for a lifetime, so you have to adapt to loneliness, and no one will help you for a lifetime, so you have to struggle for a lifetime.
Instead of regretting today with tears, it is better to fight today with sweat. When the tears run out, what is left should be strong.

In life, the three poor and the three rich are not old, and everyone has troughs. Life is like a big net that catches everything in life. Let the heart be trapped in the defeat of the net sedan chair, and all you see everywhere in life is bitterness.
In fact, sometimes in life, I am trembling and burying my head in pulling a car, and I have to take the time to look up at the sky.
A person thinks too much and the heart is too tired. Life comes and goes, and everything is empty in the blink of an eye. Sleep well when you are tired, and forget all the favors and humiliations in the world.
Why do some people in this world always have beautiful smiles on their faces? Just because I see life clearly, my heart is as wide as the sea. The sea is inclusive of all rivers and rivers, and can accommodate all the joys and vicissitudes of the world.
Life is only through the wind and rain to see the rainbow, calmly spend the years. No one in this world is anyone's savior, and the bell needs to be tied to the bell. I slip sorrow lightly from between my fingers and invite sunlight into a damp heart.

What does it mean to be able to cross others, but not to be able to cross yourself.

When things don't happen to us, we can't experience them in person, and we will always say some meaningful truths to prove our wisdom, but when it comes to ourselves, it is a pale fallacy.

I've heard a lot of truths, but I still can't live this life. Perhaps, it is more appropriate to use the word "understand" rather than "heard". Or is human nature like this, when listening to others, he is a wise man who has gone through all the vicissitudes of life; When listening to the heart, I am a weak person who looks forward and backward, and those truths are just pressed in the bottom of my heart, and I can't be moved.
No matter how many things you have gone through in the world and how many truths you know, you can't tell yourself about it, because you never listen.
The length of a life, if you don't tell outsiders, you will naturally have a plan in your heart. A hundred years old is not long, and early death is not short. There is hope in the heart, and there is no end to life; If the heart is like ashes, life has long been broken.
If there is no real unforgettable, there will be no complete heart. In the end, I always sigh "If life is only as first seen", but after the first meeting, it is a repetition of history, it is better to "if life is only as unseen".
Since he can't cross himself, he simply seals his heart. If you don't move, you won't be in love, and if you don't want to do it, you won't be able to achieve results. The world is inherently contradictory, and the human heart cannot escape, when it comes, it is as sweet as honey, and when it leaves, it must be bitter like swill, otherwise it is unfair.
It's just that some of them leave the body, and some of them pass away. However, I am always puzzled in my heart, often saying that it will be light after a long time, but the tea in the cup is very bitter after a long time, and my friend said that it is too much tea leaves. It turns out that because there is a lot of put, the longer the time, the thicker and more bitter it is; To put it mildly, it's just too little, or not at all.
The Buddha will not stop crossing others because he can't cross himself, maybe the Buddha sees too thoroughly and knows that this is his own fate. People are not Buddhas, there is no profound Dharma, only small chicken intestines. Since he couldn't cross, he guarded the boat on the shore and swayed all his life.

Crossing people is to cross themselves, crossing people refers to helping others overcome difficulties, of course, it is spiritual encouragement, helping others in a certain sense is to help themselves, so it is said that crossing people is like crossing themselves, when others are confused and hesitating, you give advice to make people see hope, this is crossing people, when others experience difficulties, you give help to make people out of the predicament, this is crossing people.

Cross the heart, look at the things that can't be opened, learn to let go, and learn to look down on the knots that can't be untied.
Crossing oneself, a person's life, is the process of crossing oneself, when you are sad, learn to be strong, when you are fighting for luck, learn to be restrained, and when others do not understand, learn to let go!
