The word Wulingyuan first came from a poem called "Taoyuan Xing" by the Tang Dynasty landscape poet Wang Wei. The poem wrote: "The people live in Wulingyuan together, and they also start the countryside from outside the things.
Wulingyuan is located in the northwest of Hunan Province, bordering Cili County, bordering Yongding of Zhangjiajie City in the south, adjacent to Sangzhi County in the northwest, the whole scenic area includes Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, Suoxiyu Scenic Area, with an area of 369 square kilometers, with more than 300 scenic spots, thousands of pools, lakes, streams, waterfalls, tens of thousands of rare animals and plants, it has won the reputation of "scenic pearl" with the majestic, strange, secluded, wild, beautiful, steep and dangerous landscape.
