Whether the sins of the past life need to be repaid in this life

I don't know if the sins of the past life will be paid for in this life. All I know is that the sins of this life will one day be repaid.

To tell you the truth, you in the past life are not you in this life. So there is no such thing as past life sin.

The so-called reincarnation of cause and effect is actually just a matter of finding the word 'enlightenment'. In the past life he lied to you, in this life you lied to him, and in the next life he deceived you back. There is no end to it. Heaven wants us to keep reincarnating, just to make us realize 'letting go'. Cause and effect will only stop if they stop.

Do the sins of past lives have to be paid for in this life? No, you don't. You are not the same as you in your previous life, and you don't have to pay it back at all. The so-called repayment in the afterlife is only to warn the world, or the words of the present life to escape the guilt of the present.

As long as you approach the world with the right mind, cause and effect will not work at all. This is the stop.

But past and present lives do exist. Because the past life is not over, this life has to end it. But it's not causal reincarnation.

It may be difficult to understand, after all, the entanglement between the past and the present life is difficult to sort out.

This is just my personal opinion, and I have no intention of offending the Buddhists, so please don't mind.

Negative karmic retribution is not an immediate retribution, nor is it necessarily retribution in an afterlife. What is said upstairs is not all right, the past life and this life are just a general term, and cause and effect are not a separate system, and the reincarnation of cause and effect is a heavenly opportunity.

There is no past or present life, only cause and effect

The meaning of the "Sutra of Cause and Effect of the Three Worlds" is that each of us uses the enjoyment and experience of this life to test what we have done in our previous lives. If you did good deeds in your previous life, you will be blessed in this life, and if you do bad things in your previous life, you will receive evil retribution or suffering in this life.

If people know that today's blessings come from doing good deeds in previous lives, and that suffering in this life is the result of doing evil in previous lives, then people will not do evil, they will consciously do good deeds and accumulate virtues, and they will know the fruits of their next lives.

The things of the past are like the ripe fruit of a melon, and you can't make it turn back and not give birth, and you can't force it to be obsessed with it, and it will only increase your troubles.

Therefore, the Buddha said that the past mind cannot be obtained.

For the past, if it is the cause, if it is the effect. What you should bear for yourself, you will face it calmly.

Cause and effect are dependent and arise, and it is better to forge ahead than to be surprised in vain. It is recorded in Buddhist scriptures that even if one commits the most heinous sins, one can still attain enlightenment through the influence of the Buddha's teachings, so as long as the evil is stopped now, it is the cause of enlightenment.

People want to live in the present, as long as every moment achieves good karma, then there is hope for the next day, the next year, and the next life!

This view is the true belief of Buddhists.

A true Buddhist, but also need to start from the foundation of Buddhism, the six degrees and ten thousand lines in Buddhism all refer to the way to return, and the study of the Dharma out of context cannot lay a good foundation for learning Buddhism.

As for chanting Buddha, you might as well start by chanting Amitabha Buddha and Avalokiteshvara.

There is no Amitabha Buddha in the south!

There are three forms of the law of karmic cycle retribution: the Nirvana Sutra says: "There are three retributions for karma, one is retribution, the retribution of good and evil, and the retribution of suffering and happiness; The second life report, or the previous life work this life report, or the current life work next life report; Three quick reports, immediate operations, and immediate reports".

We understand the truth that karma has three retributions, not only knowing that those who do bad things and doing evil will eventually be rewarded, but also can truly achieve the result of good deeds and good deeds without doing bad deeds.

If you want to know the cause of the past life, the recipient of this life is; If you want to know the consequences of the afterlife, the author of this life is. [If the work is immortal for hundreds of thousands of eons, when karma meets, the retribution will be repaid. 】

If you punch someone, you will kick a dwarf. This kick is the retribution for your beating, and it is the "evil" act you did by "returning" beating someone.

Sometimes, because others are much weaker than you, they won't kick you at that time, and wait for ten or twenty years to beat you again, this is "it's not too late for a gentleman to take revenge for ten years".

There are also people who are beaten by you and have no ability to take revenge on you in this life, and they hold back this hatred until the next life or the next few lives to take revenge, which is what you said in your question, "you have done evil in the past life and survived in this life".

There is an example of a Buddhist enlightened national teacher who has sores on his face (evil deeds committed ten lifetimes ago, retribution in this life):

In the future, Zhixuan lived in Anguo Temple, and his morality was famous. In the twelfth year of Tang Xiantong (871), Yizong came to the Dharma seat, honored him as the national teacher, and gave him the agarwood throne, which was extremely courteous, and Zhixuan also consciously honored. One day, the Wuda National Master suddenly had a facial sores on his knees, and his eyebrows, eyes, mouth, and teeth were complete.

The national teacher was all over the group of doctors, but they couldn't be cured, and when he was helpless, he suddenly remembered what the sick monk said when he was leaving.

The enlightened national master made his intentions clear, and the monk said, "Don't worry, I have a clear spring under the mountain rock here, and I can wash it with this clear spring tomorrow to get rid of your suffering." "The next day dawned.

At that time, a boy took the Wuda National Teacher to the Yanxia Creek. When the national teacher was about to pick up the stream water to wash the sores, the sores on his face shouted loudly: "Don't wash it!" You are a person from Botong ancient and modern, I don't know if you have ever read the history books of the Western Han Dynasty.

What happened to Yuan An's killing of Chao in Dongshi? You are the reincarnation of Yuan Anlai, and I am the one who was beheaded by you back then. For many lifetimes, you have been looking for an opportunity to take revenge, but you have been a high monk for ten lifetimes, and you have been strict in your precepts, so you have no chance to suffer.

It is only now that you have been favored by the emperor, and you have a heart for fame and fortune, and you have lost your precepts, so I have the opportunity to turn into a human face sore and harm you. Now the Venerable Monganoka has mercy and washes my sinful karma with samadhi.

From now on, I will no longer be entangled with you. When the Wuda National Master listened, he didn't feel that the sweat was like rain, and he hurriedly washed the water, and suddenly there was a sharp pain in the marrow, and he was suffocated, and when he woke up, the sores on his knees were gone, and he wanted to pay homage to the holy monks.

Disappeared without a trace, and disappeared.

Knowing that he had received the mercy of the Holy One, he had forgiven the grievances of many lives, and vowed to repay the Holy Grace by saying the Dharma to the people. Therefore, he composed three volumes of confessions, recited them in the morning and evening, and refined them all his life. At the end of life, the time is predicted.

Later, this confession was named "Compassion Samadhi Water Confession" because the Venerable One used samadhi water to wash the sores on people's faces and relieve the karma of many generations, and it has been passed down to this day.

Because sentient beings are reincarnated, they are reincarnated. The negative karma of the past will be carried over to this life. To do evil is to cause physical and mental suffering, and to do good is to make physical and mental pleasure.

There is a famous saying in Buddhism: "If you want to know the cause of your past life, the recipient of this life is; If you want to know the consequences of the afterlife, the author of this life is. 】
