Generally, there are two sayings: the four bodhisattvas and the eight bodhisattvas.
The four bodhisattvas in Buddhism symbolize the four ideal personalities, namely: compassion, wisdom, action, and wish. That is, it is the Bodhisattva of the King of the Earth who symbolizes the power of will, the Bodhisattva who symbolizes the practice, the Bodhisattva Manjushri who symbolizes wisdom, and the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara who symbolizes compassion.
There are many versions of the Eight Great Bodhisattvas, the most widespread of which is that Maitreya, Void Bodhisattva, Vajrapani, and Obstacle Removal Bodhisattvas are added after the above four Bodhisattvas.

Born in India, he became a monk with Shakyamuni Buddha, and often accompanied Shakyamuni to help Shakyamuni spread the Dharma. "Manjushri" means wonderful, and "Shili" means virtue and auspiciousness. Tantra calls it auspicious vajra, prajna vajra.
Second, the Bodhisattva.

3. Avalokiteshvara.
There are many statues of Guanyin, including two arms on one side, four arms on one side, two arms on three sides, eight arms on three sides, etc.; Among the 33-body changes of Guanyin, the most popular and loved Guanyin is the white-clothed Guanyin.

5. The Bodhisattva of the Void.
In the Tibetan realm mandala, the Void Tibetan Bodhisattva is the main deity of the Void Tibetan Temple. The Bodhisattva's whole body is golden, his appearance is solemn, he wears the crown of the five Buddhas, sits on the lotus flower, his face is wonderful and joyful, he holds a white lotus flower in his left hand, there is a wishful orb on the flower, which emits a yellow light, and his right hand is knotted with a wish seal: the five fingers are drooping, and the palm is outward.

What I know are Guanyin Bodhisattva, Manjushri Bodhisattva, Puxian Bodhisattva, Great Trend Bodhisattva, and Jizo King Bodhisattva.
Guanyin, Manjushri, and Fuxian have seen a lot. The general trend is relatively rare, the Bodhisattva of the King of the Earth is in hell, I don't go to hell, who goes to hell, the famous saying, the Bodhisattva who surpasses the soul in hell.
-
The first is the Jizo Bodhisattva, the "Great Wish Bodhisattva", because he has made a vow to save his mother from hell in all his life, so when a mortal dies and exceeds, he must use Jizo Bodhisattva, and when he sleeps and dreams of his deceased relatives and friends, he can also recite the name of Jizo Bodhisattva.
The second is Guanyin Bodhisattva, the "Bodhisattva of Great Compassion", because of compassion for all sentient beings, "watching their voices and saving them", and generally worships her when asking for children and marriage.
The third is Manjushri Bodhisattva, "Great Wisdom Bodhisattva", because he is the first debater under the Buddha's seat, wisdom first, generally seeking wisdom and academic success, and worshipping him for the title of the gold list.
The fourth is the Bodhisattva of Puxian, "Daxing Bodhisattva", because "all Buddhas have the eldest son, and his name is called Puxian Zun", always faithfully implement the teachings of the Buddha, such as the eldest son in the implementation of the father's will, the execution of the first, generally seek the cause will worship him.
Actually, the four bodhisattvas bless everything, and the reason why they are divided into so many categories is because of the discriminating minds of our sentient beings.
