Zhang Zhongjing is a famous machine, known as a medical saint in history. Jun with the essence of thinking and the rhyme is not high, and he will be a good doctor in the future" ("He Hao's Biography"). Later, Zhang Zhongjing really became a good doctor, and was called "the saint of medicine, the ancestor of the square." Of course, this is related to his "use of thought", but it is mainly the result of his love for the medical profession and his good at "diligent pursuit of ancient teachings and learning from others".
When he was young, he studied medicine with Zhang Bozu in the same county. After years of hard work and clinical practice, he has become an outstanding medical scientist in the history of Chinese medicine.

Sun Simiao (541 or 581 682) was a famous Taoist priest and pharmacist in the Tang Dynasty. A native of Jingzhaohuayuan (now Yaoxian, Shaanxi). Young and bright and studious.
He called himself "a young man who was cold, repeatedly made a doctor, and used up his family property for decoction and medicine". And long, through the old, Zhuang and a hundred schools of thought, and good Buddhist scriptures. At the age of eighteen, he was determined to study medicine, "quite conscious and enlightened, and he was a good friend of those who had diseases at home and abroad."
