Porcine trichinosis is a zoonotic parasitic disease caused by the adults of Trichinella parasitic in the small intestine and the larvae in striated muscle. Trichinella is mainly parasitic on pigs and rats. The adult worms of Trichinella poris parasitize in the mucosa of the small intestine, and the larvae enter the bloodstream through the lymphatic vessels and reach the diaphragm angle, diaphragm, psoas, intercostal muscle, tongue muscle, gastrocnemius muscle and masseter muscle, etc., to form cysts.
When pigs are infected after eating raw meat with cysts, people can also be infected after eating raw meat with cysts. Pigs often do not show obvious symptoms after infection, but they are harmful to human health.
Prevention and control] 1) Strengthen meat hygiene inspection, prohibit people from eating raw pork or undercooked pork.
2) Try not to feed the pigs with swill.
3) Exterminate rats.
4) If the sick pigs are found, they should be dealt with in time to prevent the spread.
5) Prothiobendazole 80 100 mg per kilogram of body weight, mixed into feed and fed to pigs, 2 times a day, 3 6 days.
6) Sulfbendazole 30 mg per kilogram of body weight, intramuscular injection, once a day, for 3 days.
7) Flubendazole 5 mg per kilogram of body weight, once orally. It is also possible to add 30 mg of flubendazole per kilogram of feed, mix well and feed pigs for 10 days.

Porcine trichinosis is a parasitic disease caused by the adult parasites of Trichinella in the intestinal tract and its larvae in the striated muscle.
It is mainly seen in pigs and house mice, dogs and cats are also susceptible to infection and have great harm to humans. Pigs are mainly infected by ingestion of rodents or meat scraps with Trichinella muscular insects.
1.Symptom. Pigs can only show symptoms when they are severely infected.
3-7 days after infection, elevated body temperature, diarrhea, sometimes vomiting, emaciation of the affected pigs. This is followed by muscle stiffness and pain, difficulty breathing, and hoarseness. Sometimes symptoms such as facial swelling and difficulty swallowing are present.
2.Prevention and cure. Strengthen slaughtering hygiene inspection, and diseased pork can only be used after high temperature treatment.
Extinguish the rats around the feedlot, and the rat carcasses should be burned. The drugs for the sick pigs are: prothhimazole, 10 mg per kilogram of body weight, 1 oral dose.
Thibendazole, 50 mg per kilogram of body weight, orally for 5 to 10 days. Flubendazole was mixed at a concentration of 125 mg kg for 10 days.

Porcine trichinosis is a parasitic disease caused by the adult parasite of Trichinella in the intestinal tube and its larvae in the striated muscle. Humans, pigs, dogs, cats, rats, cattle, sheep, horses and other animals can be infected. Pigs are mainly infected by eating meat scraps or rodents containing Trichinella muscles.
Human infection is caused by ingestion of raw, undercooked pork containing Trichinella anechocartonia. Therefore, trichinella is listed as the primary item in meat hygiene inspection. Clinical signs only appear when pigs have a severe infection.
After 3 to 7 days of infection, the body temperature rises, diarrhea, sometimes vomiting, the affected pig is emaciated, and later (the larvae enter the muscles to cause myositis) there are muscle stiffness and pain, difficulty breathing, hoarseness, and sometimes facial edema, difficulty swallowing and other symptoms. Sometimes the eyelids and extremities are swollen. Deaths are less than 4 to 6 weeks**.
Necropsy can find non-calcified cysts the size of fine needle tips in the parts commonly parasitic of Trichinella muscles, such as diaphragm, tongue, laryngeal muscles, rib muscles, pectoral muscles, etc., which are droplet-shaped, translucent, lighter than the color of muscles, and later become milky white, gray-white or yellowish-white. Calcified cysts are small gray nodules about 1 mm long.
Prevention and control measures 1) Strengthen slaughtering and sanitation inspection, do not eat raw pork, capture and kill rats in the feedlot, and burn rat carcasses. Pigs are not grazed to prevent contact with animal carcasses and some insects.
2)**Sick pigs can choose prothhimazole, 10 mg per kilogram of body weight, once orally. Thiabendazole, 60 mg per kilogram of body weight, orally once for 5 to 10 days. Flubendazole was mixed at a concentration of 125 mg kg for 10 days.

Commonly used tableting.
Method: Check the pork inside.
Trichinella is generally observed first with the naked eye when found in the diaphragm.
Muscle fibers (diaphragm feet are trichinellates.
Larval parasitism. When there are small white spots in the most places, a sample is taken for microscopic examination. The method is to cut 24 pieces of meat the size of a grain of wheat from the meat sample and lay them flat.
On the glass slide, arrange it in two rows, press it with another glass slide, and tie it tightly with rubber bands at both ends.
Low magnification is performed to observe whether there are cysts of trichinella larvae between the muscle fibers.
Digestion: Take a sample of meat and stir it.
The meat machine is crushed and digested with artificial gastric juice to separate the larvae from the muscle fibers, and then microscopic. This method can be used in cases of mild infection, and the procedure is more complicated, but the detection rate is high. The specific operation is as follows: add 60ml of water per gram of meat
Pepsin. Concentrated hydrochloric acid, mix well, digest for 37 times, separate.
Microscopic examination of larvae in sediment.
Immunological diagnosis: available.
Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
