3.Rock wool products are used for outdoor insulation or in places that are susceptible to mechanical wear and tear, metal or plastic wrapping, and pay attention to the sealing of joints and seams, add rubber seals if necessary, and the overlapping part of the wrapping layer is not less than 100mm.
4.In the case of particularly low temperature, use resin-free rock wool for insulation, and the moisture-proof layer must also be fireproof.
5.When the temperature exceeds 200 °C, the insulation must be covered with a suitable outer shield so that the possible expansion does not change the thickness and bulk density.
6.For large-diameter or flat-walled equipment with rock wool products insulation, insulation nails should be added when it exceeds 200, and the outer protection (spacing 400mm) should be tightened.
7.When the insulation object is placed vertically and has a considerable height, the insulation layer must have positioning pins or supporting rings, and the spacing should not be greater than 3 meters, so as to prevent the insulation material from sliding down when there is vibration.
8.Outdoor thermal insulation and cold insulation construction should not be carried out in rainy days, otherwise rainproof measures should be taken.
