When we first start practicing, if we practice at home, we will struggle to find a good way for a while, but in fact, the best way for us to practice at this time is to practice together. The advantage of group practice is that you can help, encourage and supervise each other, and if you study on your own, it is difficult to maintain a stable state of mind for a long time, and it is difficult to avoid regression when encountering adverse conditions.
Relying on everyone's help and encouragement, Ben Lao Bu can successfully get through the bad fate. At the same time, when you don't understand the meaning of the Fa, you can also ask your teachers in time to get some corresponding help. In fact, the most important thing in joint practice is to cultivate one's own tolerance, tolerance and altruism.
When you come to the monastery to practice together, you can also get in touch with the master and the senior brother Shisui Taoist friends, promote and encourage each other. If one of the people in the joint practice achieves it, for example, whether it is in the Western Paradise or attaining the bodhisattva status, he will inevitably save the people with whom he is destined first, and the joint practice is a way to make good karma.

According to the Supreme Maitreya Bodhisattva in The Treatise on the Distinction of the Dharma, the practice of consciousness is divided into four stages: the preliminaries (the mind has attainment), the non-preliminaries, the preliminaries (the mind is also unattainable), and the non-attainment (the dharma is unattainable, and the dharma is obtainable).
It must be divided into two levels, the first level is to break the attachment to the external environment, and the second level is to break the attachment to the mind. Among them, there are preliminaries and non-preliminaries to break the attachment to the external environment, and there are preliminaries and non-preliminaries to break the attachment to the mind.

The stages of practice.
The second most important question I want to tell you today is what exactly is Buddhism? What does Buddhism really say? What kind of practice does the Buddhist Triple Twelve Sutras talk about?
What does it mean to be secondary? It's like building a building, I want to build a four-story building, I can't run to the fourth floor at once, that's impossible. The meaning of the stage is, do you want to practice?
One step at a time. If you have a 100-meter distance in practice, you have to run 10 meters first, then 10 meters, step by step, and then the problem is solved. So, do you know this stage?
I can honestly tell you that no matter who is a monk at home, I don't believe that there are three people who know this order, no! You don't know! It may seem like a very clear understanding of this order, but not many people understand this order, so today I want to talk about the stages of practice.
Finally, I would like to talk about how to practice the practice, which is the most urgent issue for each of you to solve at the moment. There are four stages of practice: 1. The stages of being a human being.
I name this stage the stage of cause and effect, the stage of human heaven. 2. The order of the Holy Way. That is to say, there should be renunciation, and the stage of renunciation is manifested in the form of ordination, the stage of renunciation.
3. The order of sorrow. It is the stage of bodhichitta and its manifestation is the stage of the bodhisattva reaching out to sentient beings and developing bodhichitta to help sentient beings. 4. The stages of emptiness.
The stages of practicing emptiness are actually the stages of practice, attainment, and enlightenment. To put it simply, the four stages are: the first cause and effect, the second renunciation, the third bodhichitta, and the fourth emptiness.

To learn Buddhism and become a Buddha, simply put, it is necessary to go through the four steps of "believing, understanding, acting, and attaining" and adopting the six paths of "six paramitas", and go through the three levels of "precepts, concentration, and wisdom", and finally to achieve the right results and become a Buddha on the ground. Let me give you a brief introduction in turn:
1. Belief and interpretation: First of all, we must have faith, and have the determination to follow the footsteps of the Buddha to practice and follow the methods guided by the Buddha, which is called "faith", and Buddhism is also called "developing bodhicitta mind"; Then there will be a monk who is really a monk to explain the Dharma to you, that is, "understanding"; Then you have to do it according to the method taught to you by the monks, that is, linking theory with practice, which is called "doing"; Finally, it is verified from practice that what has been learned is true, which is called "proof";
2. The "Six Perfections of Paramita" are the six paths of spiritual practice, referred to as the "Six Perfections", namely: generosity, forbearance, vows, diligence, meditation, and prajna. In modern parlance, it is simply understood:
Selfless dedication (generosity), enduring grievances and suffering, observance of Buddhist rules and regulations (taking vows), studying hard to move up every day (diligent improvement), and meditating to free one's mind from the control of emotions (meditation) and attain supreme wisdom (Prajna).
3. Precepts and wisdom: This represents the realm of the three levels of practice, the "precepts" are the precepts above, the Buddha tells us what things can be done and what things cannot be done, monks must abide by 250 rules and regulations (Buddhism called "precepts"), female monks (we often say nuns) are 348, if you do not leave home and study Buddhism at home, you only need to abide by five precepts, that is, "hold five precepts" (it seems simple, it is not easy to do). "Meditation" is "meditation", this is the most important way of practice in Buddhism, people who return to meditation may not be able to become a Buddha, but Buddhahood must be inseparable from meditation!
"Hui" means "Prajna wisdom", because the word "Prajna" contains six different wisdoms, which cannot be translated, but can only be called "great wisdom".
In this way, we can achieve positive results, but for you, it is better to start from the "Three Refuges, Five Precepts and Ten Virtues", and start with filial piety to your parents! Parents are the first Buddha on our spiritual path!
