How to delete a blank line in word

Click [Paragraph Marker] twice in [Find Content], and click [Paragraph Marker] once in [Replace with], the system will automatically enter the blank line parameter, click [Replace All].

2. Delete spaces in batches.

3. Delete line breaks in batches.

In addition to spaces, after copying the text into Word, there are a lot of blank lines, in fact, we also have one click to remove all blank lines.

Operation method: [Ctrl+H] - [Enter "p p" in the Find Content box - Replace with box "p" - Replace all].

3. One-click deletion of blank pages.

Here I will explain to you the method of deleting word blank pages according to the situation, because the problems encountered are different, and the methods of deletion are also different.

The first method: backspace or delete key deletion.

If there are paragraph markers or line break marks because of a blank page, simply select the markup and press the Backspace or Delete key to delete it.

In the start menu of Word, there is a [Typesetting Tool], which has an option to delete empty paragraphs, and you can use this tool to delete extra blank lines directly here.

It's already been deleted once, and you can delete it again. In addition, there may be spaces before empty lines, so p p cannot be found. There is also a case, especially if the text is copied from a web page, sometimes the line break is not a standard line break, so Word can't find it.

You can save it as a txt text document and then open it with word to try it.

Lookup: Enter the characters p.

Replace with: Enter nothing.

Replace multiple times until all is done.

Cause: A blank format is set in Word and cannot be deleted.

Solution: 1. Open the word document first, you can see the blank lines between the text and the text on the page, but you can't delete it, select all the text.

2. Then click the "Ctrl+C" button on the keyboard to copy the operation.

3. Then right-click in the same position and select "Paste Text Only" in the pop-up options.

4. Then you can paste the formatted text as an unformatted text document, and click the mouse cursor in the space position.

5. Click the "backspace" or "delete" button to delete the blank line.
