The EICC Code of Conduct for the Electronics Industry consists of a series of basic norms covering five aspects: labor, health and safety, environmental responsibility, management systems and ethics.

The requirements of the latest EICC certification standards in 2017 are as follows:
1.**Chain management and cascading effect, the supplier must comply with the standard, and if the supplier cannot comply with the standard, the cooperative relationship will be cancelled;
2.Worker participation and protection, advocating the participation of workers in the implementation of standards to promote the operation of the standards in the factory;
3.Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining, advocating that its business partners respect the right of employees to form associations, respect employees' rights to collective bargaining, and not suffer unfair treatment because employees join associations;
4.Non-discrimination, factory hiring, promotion and dismissal can only be based on the employee's personal ability and education, and shall not be based on other factors, including gender, appearance, height, nationality, religious belief, skin color, sexual orientation, etc.;
5.Fair remuneration, the wages paid by the factory to workers shall not be lower than the local minimum wage standard or industry standard, as well as the benefits prescribed by law (including social security, annual leave, marriage leave, pregnancy leave, bereavement leave, etc.);
6.Decent working hours, workers shall not work more than 60 hours per week, at least 1 day off for every 6 days worked, and all overtime must be voluntary by the employee, and the factory shall not force it;
7.Occupational health and safety: Factories shall provide workers with a healthy and safe working environment, and shall take measures to reduce or avoid such injuries for positions with hazardous factors, such as distributing labor protection supplies to workers;
8.Do not employ child labor, and factories are not allowed to employ employees under the age of 15 (in some countries, the minimum length of service is greater than 15 years old, subject to local laws);
