Just imagine what the result would be if Sun Wukong didn't have this golden hoop spell on his head. Even if he has great ability, if his stubborn nature is not restrained, it will be difficult to achieve anything in the end.

From this, I thought that only appropriate restraint and adversity can trigger people's reflection and calm down to do things.
