Hello. Identification of quartzite jade.
Quartzite jade is a dense lump or microscopic granular aggregate, and some of them have beautiful colors due to the presence of colored minerals. Among them, there are many jade varieties such as Jingbai jade, aventurine stone, Mixian jade, Guicui, Taiwan jade and aventurine stone.
The main characteristics of quartzite jade.
Most of them are microscopic granular quartz aggregates, and the encapsulated minerals include blue-diphibole, lepidolite, chromium mica, hematite, etc. The colors are white, green, emerald green, light blue-green, purple, light purple and other colors. Hardness 7. Relative density. Vitreous lustre, opaque to nearly translucent.
Quartzite jade is mainly quartz because of its constituent minerals, so it is easy to distinguish from jadeite and nephrite according to its hardness, vitreous luster and quartz lightness. At the same time, quartzite jade is brittle and not as tough as nephrite and jadeite. Aventurine is also very easy to distinguish because it contains minerals and has a metallic luster.
In the laboratory, the species of colored minerals containing the colored minerals can be identified by grinding thin sheets, and the cause of their color can be studied through chemical analysis, and the luminescence and absorption spectral characteristics can also be studied.

It depends on your financial strength.
If your financial strength is very strong, you can buy the most expensive one, it must be good, you get what you pay for; If you don't have any money, you can only buy junk goods, and it will be very good to wear it in time, so it is better not to wear it.

Judging whether a stone is jade can be distinguished according to four aspects: texture, color, specific gravity, and transparency, as follows:
1. The texture of jade is relatively hard, and it feels delicate, smooth and warm in the hand, with a sense of oil, reluctant to let go, and flashes with a soft gemstone luster. Because jade is relatively hard, it cannot be smashed easily. The stone is loose, the skin is rough, there is a feeling of grinding, it does not emit luster, and sometimes it will break when it falls on the ground.
2. Jade will show different colors, such as white, cyan, emerald, ink, blue, etc., sometimes several colors are mixed together, and its color is bright and shiny. The stones are mostly earth gray, there is no surprise, and some stones also have different colors, such as the colorful stones of Shandong, but the color is dim and does not exude luster.
3. The specific gravity of jade is relatively large, and it is heavier in the hand and has a feeling of pressure. The specific gravity of the stone is small, and it flutters lightly in the hand.
4. Jade is transparent, some are transparent, some are slightly transparent, and the beam has a sense of convergence. Ordinary stones do not have transparency, although some quartz stones and mineral crystals have transparency, but the beam is relatively scattered and unobstructed.
Characteristics of common jade:
1. Hetian jade: the color is mainly white, and many of them are yellow, green, blue, black and other colors because they contain different metal elements. The hardness is 6 0 6 5 on the Mohs scale. The jade is tender, delicate and warm, many are opaque, a few are translucent, and most of them are oily or wax-like luster.
2. Xiutian jade: the color is mainly green, and the impurities are white, yellow, red and other colors. The hardness is low, between Mohs 2 5 5 5, and the structure is compact. Most of them are translucent to opaque, and a few are transparent, generally with a glass or grease luster.
3. Nanyang jade: Nanyang jade contains a variety of alteration minerals, so it has a variety of colors, mostly yellow, white, variegated, and purple, blue, yellow and other colors. The hardness is 6 6 5, most of them are opaque or translucent, with a glass luster, and are known as Nanyang jadeite because of its good luster.
4. Lantian jade: the color is yellow with green, the color is unevenly distributed, and it is often cloud-like or spotted. The hardness is about 4 on the Mohs scale. Most are opaque and have a slightly vitreous or greasy sheen.
5. Jadeite: common green is the mainstay, as well as white, brown, red and other colors. The hardness is as high as 6 75 7 on the Mohs scale, the texture is delicate and tough, most of them are opaque, and very few are translucent or transparent, showing a dazzling glass luster.

It's too hard. You're not a professional and don't want to mislead you. Even for me, after making the finished product, some materials have to be looked at for a long time and can't even be distinguished. >>>More
