In fact, the original scripture says very clearly, all color methods and thoughts are born and destroyed, if you count them as one thought, it is 81,000 births and deaths. (This birth and death is not the actual material birth and death, but the appearance of birth and death).

And the third volume of "Dharma Garden Zhulin" quotes "The Law of the Monks": "Twenty thoughts are a moment, and twenty moments are a flick of the fingers." According to this calculation, that is, there are 400 thoughts in a flick of the fingers, so the time of a flick of the fingers (about less than a second).

There should be 32,400,000 lives and deaths.

Here is an analogy, for example, when we watch a movie, the images of various people, objects, and activities in the movie are actually static at 24 frames per second. It creates our delusions. The same is true of every birth and death in a thought, when it is born and it is destroyed, that is, it is born and it is destroyed.

But one cannot perceive this subtlety. So we mistakenly think that everything in the world is real and coherent. In fact, they are all manifestations of the self-nature that is immortal and imperishable.

All phases are vain, born and destroyed in an instant, like a dream bubble, this initiator is the own heart, if the heart does not move, there is no thought, there is no phase, no phase is the empty phase, everything is empty!

If you are not born, there will be no death, which means that the practitioner [the heart does not give birth to affection, and the affection does not need to be extinguished] does not refer to ordinary people.

This is the language of the Buddhist scriptures, to the effect that the fighting and the stars are moving, the vicissitudes of the sea, the world is impermanent, and it is fleeting.

One thought, how can the Zhou Heavenly Dharma Realm be destroyed in one lifetime and nine hundred lives destroyed?

This is ontologically speaking. For example, when you have a dream, when you haven't woken up, you will feel that the dream is very real, but at this time, it cannot be said to be illusory, because the realm in the dream does exist; And once you wake up from the dream, you will find that the essence of the dream is illusory. In the same way, everything in the world is a combination of causes and conditions, and there is no physical existence.

For example, quantum physicists subdivide matter and find that in the end there is nothing but quanta that keeps fluctuating, and if the fluctuations stop, the universe is basically empty. Therefore, everything is illusory, but there is still a form of expression, so we cannot cling to the illusory void. Otherwise it will fall into the negative side.

Not being, not dwelling in emptiness, and leaving everything relative is the middle way.
