As the main road of the city running through the north and south of Changsha City, the main axis of Zhuzhou and Xiangtan - the Duyun section of Furong South Road in Changsha City officially started construction today. He Tongxin, Vice Governor of Hunan Province, attended the groundbreaking ceremony and said that this move marks that the integration process of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Zhuzhou-Tan has entered a virtuous circle, which will accelerate the construction of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Tan Rongcheng and promote the economic and social development of the three cities.

The construction of the Duyun section of Furong South Road is a total length of kilometers, with a total investment of 100 million yuan, 10,000 square meters of control and 480,000 square meters of fill, 15 bus stations and other supporting projects, and the construction period is fully completed on December 31, 2006.

Duyun Town, Changsha County, is the pearl of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Tan Rongcheng, an economically strong town around the provincial capital, a transportation hub of Sanxiang, and the core area of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Tan Rongcheng. When he learned that many projects in Changsha City, Furong South Road, Mars Avenue, and the scenery belt along the river urgently needed to be developed and required a large amount of investment, Ni Fulin felt that there were unlimited business opportunities, but also felt a great responsibility.

Furong North Road starts from Wujialing Bolong Overpass in the south to Shahe in the north, with a total length of about 22 kilometers, and is also an important traffic artery connecting Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone to the center of Changsha. After the road was opened to traffic in 2003, the construction of greening, lighting and other supporting facilities in the south of the Laodao River Bridge was completed in advance.

The northern section of Furong North Road starts from the Laodao River Bridge in the south, and reaches the Shahe toll station in the north, with a total length of 9,608 meters, and the expansion and reconstruction project was fully launched in May last year, divided into two sections of construction: the first section is the intersection of Laodao River Bridge to Qingzhuhu Avenue, which has been completed and opened to traffic at the end of last year; The second section is the northern extension of Furong North Road, which is opened to traffic today, from the intersection of Qingzhuhu Avenue to the Shahe section, with a total length of 2,832 meters and a total cost of 100 million yuan. The north extension of Furong North Road is a section of Changxiang Highway close to Beicheng District, before the expansion, the road section is at the junction of urban and rural areas, only more than 20 meters wide motor lanes, no sidewalks and ** isolation fences, traffic facilities are not perfect, often in the state of mixed traffic of people and vehicles, traffic accidents are frequent.

After the expansion, the original width of more than 20 meters was widened to 60 meters, with 6 lanes in both directions, which is the city's first-class main road.

After the road is completed and opened to traffic, in the north of Changsha City, the north-south Furong North Road and Zhongqing Road, the east-west Xinglian Road, Qingzhuhu Avenue will form a "well" shaped road network, which is of great significance for improving the infrastructure of Jinxia Group in the Development Zone, promoting the development along the line and the development of modern logistics industry in the Development Zone, and building the provincial capital "Dachengbei". In addition, the road is located on Furong Road, the main axis of Changsha City, which will also effectively promote the construction of the "two-type society" of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Zhuzhou-Tan urban agglomeration. In 2003, Changsha City called the original Jinxia Road, Furong Road and Changsha Avenue as "Furong Road", and planned a 46-kilometer Furong Road from the North Third Ring Road in the north to Duyun Town in Changsha County in the south.

Today's completion of the section from Qingzhuhu Avenue to Shahe, coupled with the completion of the expansion and reconstruction project last year, the kilometer north of the North Third Ring Road to Qingzhuhu Avenue has made the Changsha section of Furong Road cross the 50-kilometer mark. According to the relevant person in charge of the Changsha Municipal Construction Committee, the Duyun section of Furong South Road is planned to be completed in the second half of next year, and the main channel will run north-south and will be connected with Zhaoshan Avenue and Bantang Avenue in Yuetang District, Xiangtan City. After the northern section of Furong North Road, the Duyun section of Furong South Road and the road connecting Furong Road and Xiangtan are connected, Furong Road can run through Jinxia Development Zone to the north and Xiangtan to the south, becoming the main passage of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Zhuzhou-Zhu

Furong South Road was originally planned to be named Changsha Avenue, starting from the Xinzhong Road overpass of the South Second Ring Road in the north and connecting with National Highway 107 at the entrance of Datuo Airport in the south, with a total length of kilometers. Last year, Changsha County extended Furong South Road to Duyun Town, which is connected to Xiangtan, according to the same standard.

The Duyun section of Furong South Road runs through the middle of Duyun Town, Changsha County from north to south, enters Duyun Town from Tianxin District in the north, and connects the Nanheng Line of the Fourth Ring Road in Changsha City in the south, with a total length of about kilometers and a total investment of 100 million yuan. The design standards of the Duyun section are consistent with the existing Furong South Road, with a planned width of 60 meters and 15 bus stops along the route.

At present, Electrolux Avenue extends from east to west, and the built section will be transformed into an urban expressway, the west section will be built to cross the river with the new Xiangjiang River Bridge, and the east section will be connected to the vaulting horse.

In the long term, follow the Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway across the Xiangjiang River into Xiangtan, and in the near future, Wanjiali Road has been crossing the Xiangjiang River from the south side of the airport.
