How to hide the data stored in the D drive and how to open it yourself

First, right-click on the file you want to hide - Properties - Hide (tick) Then, My Computer - Tools - Folder Options - View - do not show the hidden files or folders.

Others will not see it.

Next time, select Show All Files to see your files.

But it's better to go to the next encryption software, so you can't get in.

7. After entering Hide these specified drives in My Computer, check Enabled first, and then select Restrict Drives A, B, and C Only in the options.

8. After setting, click OK.

9. After setting, enter the computer and you can see that the D drive is hidden.

4. Go to the view page, click Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then click Apply.

5. After the app displays hidden files, folders and drives, open the D drive to show the hidden folders, click to open it.

Take win7 as an example, show the steps of the method to hide files:

1. Open a computer window (such as "My Computer" or "My Documents");

2. Click "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Folder Options".

3. Select the "View" tab in the pop-up dialog box;

4. Select "Show all files and folders" in the "Advanced Settings" directory, and then click "OK".

Note: Some protected system files may not be displayed even if they are not hidden files. The solution is to uncheck the "Hide protected OS files" check in step 4 above.

Open My Computer, select Tools, Folder Options, select View, in the Advanced Settings there select Show All Files and Folders, and that's it.

Right-click on My Computer, select Management, select Disk Management, select Drive D, right-click on Explorer to open, and that's it.

Start - Control Panel - Folder Options - View - Advanced Settings - Hide Files & Folders Select Show All Files & Folders.

In the menu bar, select Tools - Folder Options - View - Advanced Settings - Hide Files and Folders to choose to show all files and folders.

The steps to display hidden files on the D drive of your computer are as follows:

Materials or tools need to be prepared: computer.

1. Click to open the desktop "Computer".

2. Click on the "Tools" option in the upper menu bar, and then select "Folder Options (O)" in the drop-down menu.

3. In the folder options window, under the navigation window of General Settings, put a checkmark in front of "Show all folders (f)", and then click OK to display the hidden folders.

5. Select the "View" page in the pop-up "Folder Options" dialog box;

Open 'Computer'

In the Folder Options dialog box, select View

Scroll down to 'Hide Files & Folders'

Tap ''Show hidden files, folders, and drives'

Click 'OK' and exit.

Turn on my computer:

Folder options--- look --- find Hide Files & Folders, and just tick Show all.

Open the My Computer Tools folder option View, check before Show hidden files and file names, and OK.
