Held in Chengdu from July 28th to August 8th, this Universiade is China's first comprehensive international sports event this year, and it is also one of the large-scale foreign-related activities held by China after the Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics. With sports as the medium to focus on the global gaze, Chengdu will present an international sports event with Chinese characteristics, the atmosphere of the times and youthful demeanor to the world.
