1. Carry out academic exchange activities at home and abroad, organize the first and first inspection of key academic topics, and participate in the International Federation of Measurement Technology on behalf of China.

10. Accept the entrustment of the Metrology Department of the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision to carry out the specific assessment and evaluation of the measurement and testing system of the enterprise.

Ten. 2. Accept the entrustment of the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision to manage the National Quality and Technical Supervision Vocational Skills Appraisal Center. Organize, manage and coordinate the training, assessment and certification of professional (work) qualifications of quality and technical supervision personnel.

Ten. 3. Accept the entrustment of the Standardization Department of the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision to undertake the formulation and revision of national standards involving measurement work.

Ten. 4. Organize experts to participate in technical work such as measuring instrument licenses and new product finalization.

Ten. 5. Organize various activities to serve scientific and technological work.

There are 131 members of the council of the society, and there are six working committees under it: academic, consulting, science popularization, foreign affairs and organization. There are 24 professional committees such as electromagnetic, time and frequency, electronic, ionizing radiation, mass, multiphase flow testing, foreign instrument application technology, geometric quantity, temperature, pressure, noun terminology, measurement management, testing, reference materials, basic physical constants and laser parameters, analysis and testing and quality assurance, optical radiation, vacuum, thermal physical properties, flow, mechanics, measurement instruments, chemistry, quartz frequency control, etc., and the secretariat is the office of the council. There are 43 group member units, 14,209 individual members, 3 academicians of the Academy of Sciences, 3 academicians of the Academy of Engineering, and 80% of professors, researchers and senior engineers, gathering a large number of talents with high academic level and certain authority in the field of measurement and testing in China.
