2.Destructive instrumentation, metallographic method. It is to use a knife to cut the sprayed conformal paint, and use a magnifying glass to observe the thickness, the disadvantage of this method is that it is inefficient and needs to be destroyed, and it is suitable for spot check or inspection.
But after all, the conformal coating is a soft material, and the conformal coating will be deformed when the tool is cut, so that the measured thickness is low and the error is relatively large.
3.With ultraviolet light, the cheap one is just illuminated, and the color is the conformal paint, which needs to be seen by the human eye, and the approximate amount is judged by experience, and the error is quite large. The expensive instrument analyzes the specific thickness according to the reflection of the conformal coating after being irradiated by ultraviolet rays, with high precision, minimal impact on the product, and high efficiency.
