How to connect your desktop and laptop to the Internet at the same time

There are two ways:

2.The first thing to do is to set up the route in your hand. The desktop is connected to the router LAN port.

Enter the webpage, enter or, the account password is admin, and the password is not filled. Change the IP address to or then put the upstairs next line. Access to the router in your hand downstairs, the interface is WLAN

If the router was wireless, it could have been connected directly with wireless without wire.

This is a secondary routing connection.

Upstairs don't like to help people save effort, not to mention the convenience, you go to buy a switch 20-30 yuan and get a network cable. The upstairs cable is not plugged into the desktop plug in the switch, and then connect the cable from the switch to the desktop, and one to the notebook. Both machines are connected to the Internet.

The switch does not need to be set up.

You can connect to a router or hub, if you use a router, don't plug the upstairs and downstairs wire into the LAN port, but plug it into the port marked with a number, 1 port should be fine.

The steps to access the Internet from a desktop through a laptop are as follows:

1. First of all, make sure that both your desktop and laptop have installed network cards and are connected to the same router.

2. Then, click "Start" - "Control Panel" in the desktop, click "Network and Internet", then click "Network Connection", select "Ethernet", right-click "Properties", click "Pure Sail Sharing" in the pop-up window, check "Allow other network users to connect to my Internet connection" in "Client", and then check "Allow computers or devices to use this connection through Internet connection", and click "OK".

3. Then, click "Start" - "Control Panel" on the notebook, click "Network & Internet", then click "Network Connection", select "Wireless Network Connection", right-click "Properties", click "Share" in the pop-up window, check "Allow other network users to connect to my Internet connection" in "Share this connection", then check "Allow computers or devices to use this connection through Internet connection", and click "OK".

4. Finally, run "Command to Hail Prompt" on the desktop, enter the "ipconfig all" command in it to check the IP address of the desktop, and then run the "Command Prompt" on the notebook and enter "ping IP address" in it to determine whether the desktop and the laptop are connected.

With the above steps, the desktop can access the Internet through the laptop.
