X-Japan is a famous heavy metal band in Japan. The band was founded in January 1982 and became the most popular band in Japan in 1989. In April 1997, the band was forced to announce its disbandment on September 22 due to the fact that the lead singer Toshi had a different orientation, and the band's resurrection was even more unpredictable due to the unexpected death of guitarist Hide the following year.
