A Teacher Like This after reading

During this winter vacation, I had the privilege of reading Professor Wei Shusheng's book "I Do This as a Teacher". In this book, Professor Wei provides a profound analysis of how teachers can use the right teaching methods to better educate students. It also enables teachers to experience more sense of accomplishment and happiness in their work.

Without a happy teacher, it is difficult to have a real meaning. In order to make Chinese education better and let students' personalities develop naturally, we must lead the majority of teachers to experience the happiness of the teaching profession. So what does the teacher's happiness come from?

1. Be kind to students.

First, get to know the students. Learn about their hobbies and talents, understand their personality traits, and understand their spiritual realm. For a good teacher, only by understanding the characteristics of each student can we guide them to become complete people with personality, ambition and wisdom.

Secondly, we should treat every student fairly and treat all students as our own children. According to a survey of teachers' personality traits, "impartiality and objectivity" are regarded as one of the most important qualities of teachers in the eyes of students. They want teachers to treat all students equally, not to favor one over the other. They are most dissatisfied with teachers' preference for certain students based on their personal likes and dislikes, or for neglecting or discriminating against certain students.

Fairness, which is the basis for children to trust their teachers. Third, we should respect their personality and creative spirit, get along with them on an equal footing, not be overbearing, and stimulate their curiosity and creativity with trust and concern.

It is self-evident that in order to achieve happiness in life, you must first become a successful teacher, and treating students well is the prerequisite for a successful career as a teacher. To be kind to students is to be kind to yourself. Rental tours make students feel the joy of learning and growth, and happy teachers are the happiest teachers.

2. Be kind to yourself.

Active moderation for leisure. It is necessary to make good use of weekends, winter and summer vacations, and the leisure time after intense work every day to carry out self-care, games, entertainment, fitness and other activities to adjust the body and mind and maintain mental and physical health. Without a healthy body, it is impossible to talk about happiness, it is meaningless to talk about the problem of teacher ethics in isolation from the living environment, and it is ineffective to cultivate teacher ethics in isolation from career development.

Maintaining mental balance and physical health is only the most basic element of treating oneself well, constantly developing in professional knowledge, making continuous progress in teaching skills, and constantly seeking sublimation in the moral level, so that oneself can truly "keep pace with the times" and never fall behind, is to truly treat oneself well.

Do what you like, and you will be happy; If you like what you do, you will be happy. As long as you have the heart, in the ordinary and beautiful land of teachers, you can grow the most brilliant flowers everywhere and harvest the sweetest fruits.
